im locing my hair in January and my mom hates locs too. i bought up the idea a year ago and she was like no but this time I'm just going to surprise her idc anymore what my mom and other family thinks and it took me awhile to get passed that.

how long have u had ur locs? and wat product did u use to twist them? the reason y im asking is bcuz im in the middle of my research of locs and now that i got so much info about them i did figure out a start date but now that its getting closer im nervous on how they will come out. idk if i should have a friend of mine do it or do it professionally. im not sure yet. sry that i am rambling but i do have to say that ur locs r so beautiful.
@dreamgrl3 Thank you for the compliments! I have had locs for 6years now. I have tried so many products along the way BUT not everything is good for your hair. ALSO i started my locs myself. I will do a product video very soon.

I have had locs for a little over 7 years, but because my fingers keep itching I have drastically cut my hair twice. Now I have a short ( but rapidly growing) haircut that resembles a bob. I look good, and I constantly get compliments!
Hi Yuneek!! I love your locs, that's why I subscribed.My story is that I had a perm at about 12 that damaged my hair. I did not even begin to know how to take care of it. One day, I decided to cut off the perm. I had a beautiful teacher with locs past her behind in HS, so I decided that that was my hair destiny. I locked for the first time at 15, and then pulled them out after about 2 to 3 months. Then I knew it was for me, and I ended up locking again right before my 16th birthday.
