The egg got in the bottle because he lit the inside of the bottle on fire and put the egg on the mouth the hot air on the inside of the bottle expanded and pushed outward than the air cooled down caused low pressure and higher pressure outside of the bottle, the high pressure pushed the egg in the bottle. the egg got out of the bottle because the hot water caused the air inside the bottle to heat up and rapidly expand causing high pressure pushing the egg out

one of the reason maybe:
your egg inside the bottle is malformed, making a gap between the mouth and the egg, so the air just sneaks out but not pushing the egg out
