@ninodrifter2 A&K's usually need to have the hopup upgraded immediately after a few games. It's the first to fail. Aside from that they're good to go for most game sites in the Philippines. We don't have an opinion on the VSR10s as we don't have one. I suggest you call a shop to know prices, we don't sell them.

@D11Churchkill27 The box magazine is powered by a motor but you'll usually not hear it as you fire since the gun's gearbox is much louder. There is no vacuum involved. The BBs are mechanically pushed.

@funnypoptar The trigger mechanism might not touching the contact switch properly. try to open it and check if the trigger arm is pushing the contact switch arm properly. then use a silicon spray to lubricate the trigger mechanism.your unit might be an old stock.if it does not work, ask your dealer to replace it with a newly tuned up unit.if they don't, demand a refund.

I got one also and it is fully upgraded..I installed the 13:1 ratio gear set using PDI 190 and it shoots fantastic.The contact switch is difficult to find in some places so, better use a auto-relay for long lasting usage. Never ever use a mozfet as a relay, it will burn at over 10 sec of firing using higher spring and a Lipo battery. Waste of money.The box mag will miss fed if you dont upgrade it also.

@kermitarellano Remove the pistol grip and look at the trigger switch. There's a piece of metal that gets depressed when you pull the trigger. Bend it back so its not too sensitive but not too much that it doesn't fire. This is trial and error.

I have a question... I bought a used para, but it tends to jam sometimes. This vid tells about the hop-up jam. If my para has this, should I be able to see a lump or smtn in the barrel? I dont think its in the gears or the piston... Lubricated em all and it still jams. The previous owner said he had replaced the hop-up rubber, but I guess u can never be sure... Oh and i bought a m135 spring, the gun doesnt fire with it, anyone have any ideas why or could it have smtn to do with the jams?

@Maksymaxi I would test fire it with the regular spring. If it sounds like its hard cranking you might want to look at the battery. If its old it might not be producing the proper output. If it was jamming at the barrell you would find them slipping down after your fire or caught in the magwell.

Could new batteries be the problem? I just got some new ones, and the first recharge time the gun jammed quite a bit. Now I recharged my other battery and it didnt jam with the regular spring and the m135 actually fired for a while before jamming.

And BB's slipping down after I fire? As in just rolling out of the barrel? That does happen sometimes, does that mean I have a BB in my hop-up rubber? The previous owner said he had bought a new one...

@Maksymaxi If your new battery is lower than 9.6V it may have trouble cranking. You need a multimeter to test the output voltage. If you take out the barrel you should also inspect it for obstruction. If the hop-up is bad you will see that the rubber has moved or warped badly. You may need to disassemble the hop-up if that is the case.

I indeed own this weapon, and let me tell you, its heavy, mean, and some-what reliable. I love it in battles, but one fault that many receive after months of owning it, like myself, is the electric switch at the bottom of the gearbox. The switch will die eventually and need to be replaced, thank god the switch is only five dollars or so.

2. Besides the boxclip, it uses M4 clips. does it take only A&K's or stuff like Marui too?

3. The gun is almost all metal, but does it have any major faults like parts you should replace as soon as you can?

4. How good are all the electric parts? (All electric wires and such, do they break easily?)

if you get this gun and have an extra 70-130$ you can get a killer upgrade service this gun dosent shoot 400 fps it shoots only about 320 so the upgrade kit makes it 400 and gives you a a gear box that can handle high amps soo get the upgrade its worth it

Your trigger switch is getting stuck. You can remove the gun handle and play around with bending the switch until it fires when you pull and doesn't when you don't.
