hello i have just been on the website it all looks really good, it says the unscented one is good for oily skin for the lady that asked, also my skin tends to break out would u atill recommend it ? is it all or mostly natural ingredients?
Oh my gosh ASHLEY THIS IS PHENOMENAL!!! I got my lavender and it was shipped fast. I cannot believe how it takes makeup off BETTER than Ponds/Jergens. I'm ordering more as we speak. THANK YOU for this review!!! I'm sold...
YAY! It is so wonderful. Ii love mine. It's unscented but you can still smell the beeswax etc...very healthy and natural smelling. It DOES take the heck off some makeup. :)
I swear by Ponds; I use the dry skin cream. Since Ponds does make my skin feel greasy, I slather it on at night and wash it off in the morning. My skin feels amazing. I stay away from soapy products since they make dry skin worse, so I use Clean & Clear cream cleanser to start then moisturize. Every other night or two depending on how dry my skin is I switch off with my Mint Julep Masque and an exfoliant (e.v. olive oil, honey, sugar). I'll have to try these if I can pull myself from ponds. =P
Gosh, your skins must be ultra sensitive. I don't use Ponds myself but my mother swore by that stuff. Ponds is so gentle and clean smelling. It's an old classic.
i have really dry skin... and i can't seem to find a moisterizer thats good for me.. i've tried.. clinique but it's not good for me... most creams are to oilly for me... or make me break out.. can you recommend a cream that works for you? since you've mentioned that you have dry skin.. thanks... =D
The best moisturizer I've found is Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. It comes ina big jar at Wal Mart. It's better than any dpt store brand I've found either. :) And if your skin is even too dry for that, try Eucerin Cream (also in a big jar). My boys have dry patches on their arms and legs...the Eucerin is ideal for that.
I have used the Ponds before, and did not really like it, but I have always used Noxzema to wash my face and I always have great skin from it, I also use Dove soap, I find that Dove soap is so lux, it makes your skin so silky and smooth. I usually use Noxzema because it smells good, and I love the cool sensation of it , and its a retro product, been around for 50 years! and I also use another retro product too, Oil Of Olay, this is a great moisterizer too :)
I have problems with dry skin as well. Something I've found that works like a dream is almond oil as a makeup remover. I rub that around to loosen the makeup, wash with super gentle cleanser to get rid of most of the almond oil and moisturize with jojoba. My skin is pleased as punch with that combo.
THANK YOU! I've been looking for a cold cream that is inexpensive and doesn't test on animals. I used to use Pond's but stopped because they test on animals. I use Boots now, but you don't get much product for 8 dollars. :(
I use Noxzema since I have acne prone, combo skin. My skin is also fairly sensitive. I find the Noxzema isn't over drying or too oily for my skin. Do you think the handcrafted cream would leave more emollient behind than the Noxzema? I know that Ponds is way too greasy for my skin.
I don't recommend cold cream for oily skin but if you have combo skin, I'd go for a sample sized jar and see what you think. I do not think this leaves your skin NEARLY as greasy as Ponds.
I've got extremely oily skin and cold cream has actually helped even me out sebum-wise. I tend to strip my skin with other cleansers. I've never had a problem. I tissue off and them remove the rest with a warm cloth. I follow up with witch hazel toner and my skin has never looked better. It's actually the best because it removes all makeup, unlike foaming cleansers I've used :) LOVE the review!
Love your look in this video, those little bows are so cute... it reminds me of the Solid potato salad girls (Ross Sisters)! You only had to pincurl your bangs to be the same style.
Makeup remover, moisturizer, soothing chest rub? Home made without commercial additives? Whats not to like!? Hope this girl can keep the supply up, because I have a feeling the demand is going to sky rocket!
I use ponds to remove my makeup too, accept I have REALLY oily skin, so i have to wash my face again right after I use the cold cream, or else ill feel SO greasy and gross! So Ill be definitely trying out her cold cream once I run out of my ponds (Im almost there!!!)!

I don't recommend cold cream for oily skin because of its emoilient properties. But it would work well for callused or dry areas...

I heard Ponds has Borax in it, as in the same chemical as the cleaner and gives it a white color... Good idea to switch
