the shittiest harley is better than the best bike anywhere else, unless its another harley of course, im learning to ride bikes now and i plan on getting a sportster, my dad offered his road king classic (to share) but that sucker is 800 pounds, 4 times my weight :-P

Sportsers are Badass! 883 or 1200 these bikes are just Awesome! I have a 1988 Sportster 883 with an S&S Carb...I put it on a Dyno about 2 years ago and it gained torque...I recently bought a 2008 1200 Custom...I love both of these Sportsters!
I'm glad to see that Harley decided to bring the 1200C back, although I think they should drop the price by $5-700. Personally, I find the ergonomics better on this bike than the Dyna-Glide. I think Harley should definitely get rid of the 1200-Low and eventually the Forty-Eight. I, too would like to see the 1200 Roadster return, but it ain't gonna happen. I doubt you'll see the 883C back, though.
@DHRC18 I know what you're saying. I love the sportsters, but most "harley" folk consider it a girl's bike or a beginner's harley which is rediculous. I believe it's the best set of bikes they make minus the heritage softail - pure classic.
@HondaRebellion I agree 100%.....When I went for a ride on my Nightster yesterday I kept thinking "man this thing rides like a tank", and the thing is quick. Definitely not an entry level bike. And although it definitely does not have a soft ride (when you get going it sounds nice and smooth, but the thing shakes like a motherfucker) it does look bad ass. Ride safe!
@HondaRebellion I don't think it's a girls bike or a faggot's bike, maybe mopeds are. It would make sense that H-D has been producing a smaller model from 1957 for smaller-sized or skinnier people. I think the rider and the bike should have a comfortable man-bike weight ratio for comfortable maneuvering.
Not bad, but i don't understand why this aluminium wheels are not available in Europe (only spoked wheels), but i hope the Sportster 1200 Roadster revive like this1200 Custom...with aluminium wheels, and 4.4 galons (or more) tank...the comercial strategy from Harley Davidson is very strange...

I wonder if they plan on releasing the same bike as an 883C. Not everyone needs a 1200cc entry level Harley.

@HondaRebellion It's not an entry level bike.....I, and most people buy these for the old school bobber and blacked out look.
