This intro was so much better than season twos. I also think that people are nitpicking with this show. Sure it has some plot holes and some of the episodes weren't that great but for the most part this was an excellent show. People should stop comparing this with t3 and t4. The tx was just awful , the actress just couldn't act at all. The only reason this series failed to get the viewers it deserved was that the third film was awful and mostly just a stain on the story. Had there only been 2 films and then this, it would probably still be on now. I say this as someone who saw 3, and when I heard there was a show figured it would suck. I only watched it after it got the axe because a friend told me it was really good, and he's never wrong.

1) SKYNET was not programmed to destroy humanity. It decided that for itself.

2) Did Sarah suddenly forget T2 where a Terminator was sent back to protect him. Gee I wonder what that CSM Model 101 was doing in T2. Looked like a fucking machine to me. So there has been more than 1 to protect him, not just fucking Cameron.

3) This show takes a giant shit on T1 and T2. So does T3 and Salvation.

To me,all these new Sci-fi tv shows are dull(Especially the beloved "Battlestar Galactica)There's no fantasy like in all the classics(Doctor Who,Star Trek etc.) and all of them are overly dramatic...there are some good shows,like Farscape and the new series of Doctor Who,but the classic magic and fantasy of Science Fiction is fading away.

@TheEloeo wow dude they are SCI FI shows not entertaining fantasy movies. Battlestar Galactica and this show have much more SCI FI elements than Star Trek and shit like that. Maybe you like fantasy movies(star wars star trek LOTR etc.) rather than SCI-FI and you just dont know it. Because any decent sci fi fan would be crazy about battlestar galactica as the setting is much more logical and the plot is closer to humans not about a different made-up race

Ever seen Blade Runner? To me good Sci Fi has good atmosphere.I absolutely loved old Terminator and Alien movies,because they had awesome setting and were very original at the time.The new Sci Fi doesn't have all these stuff,just boring actors,boring setting and boring,repetitive plot.

@TheEloeo Dude you are probably the first person that liked Blade Runner and disliked Battlestar Galactica. BSG's most important feature is its plot and setting. The thing that really surprised me is your recommendation of Star Trek (For me its just a kid's fantasy world but yes, its fun). BSG is much more deep and sophisticated then Star Trek. It is not just about a ship fighting evil robots.

The only good thing Fox is good at doing is making Sci-fi Movies, but they rather cancel good sci-fi shows like Firefly, Silders and many more. Fox should give it up and let a real network show Sci-fi shows. I don't mean Sy-Fi channel either, they kind of went down hill after they want to cancel Battlestar Galactica after four seasons. BSG was suspose to go one more season and they ended the show.

She must have dyed her hair. I mean, in the recent Scooby Doo prequel, Fred Jones' hair is black. But as we all know, he's normally blonde, so he must have dyed it blonde later on. Therefore, Sarah must have dyed her hair too, for some reason.

Actually, the show very much enhances the franchise and pays homae in SO many ways. What it does is realistically portray how people might react, think and feel if they were in the situation John and Sarah were in at the close of Terminator 2. There is time travel involved so Sarah is living past the time that she originally died. The old is honored but they brought a LOT of fresh ideas and enriched a lot of the old ones.

T3 was garbage. And the big reason why this didn't get renewed and dollhouse did, even though they both got similar numbers? Dollhouse is produced by Fox, this is produced my Warner Bros. Obviously, shows you produce yourself are generally more profitable than shows you order from someone else. Still, it does open the possibility that someone (Sci-Fi?) may pick up the rights to do a third season.

Funny You should say that... Buffy the vampire slayer was produce by Fox, but shown on WB for five years until it went to another network. Maybe if the show was put on another network it might had made atleast four to five seasons. But that's my guess. My point is this, if you have a sci-fi show, don't put it on Fox, because they will only end up canceling it. LOL.

Right indeed. Dollhouse was just recently canned too. Fox hasn't had a hit sci-fi show since X-Files. A shame really. I liked this show and it might've worked on NBC next to Heroes or on CBS next to one of the CSIs.

I like the song that plays during this intro, but I still wish they would use some version of the Terminator theme from the movies.

This show exceeded my expectations (which were pretty low). It may not be the greatest thing on TV, but it's interesting, entertaining, and closely follows the Terminator mythos (even though they just ignore T3). I was glad to hear it was picked up for a second season.
