I remember when the Kings' Mike Donnelly scored & put the Kings ahead 4-3 I immediately got up & went to bed & missed the ending. I didn't want to watch the Leafs lose this. Since then, I've seen the ending of this game a bunch of times now; I can watch now with ease but could NOT do so that night. I really thought, like a lot of people, that it would be a Montreal-Toronto Cup Final that year. Still, that was a fantastic playoffs for hockey, even if it wasn't a happy ending for Leaf fans.

I remember watching this game when I was 9 years old. My family are Laffs fans (why, I don't know) and it was the only time I enjoyed seeing the sorrow in my family's eyes. All the distraught faces at the Make Believe Gardenshed. The 92-93 Laffs team were over-rated and played way over their heads throughout that season. The two series that they did win, it took them SEVEN games in each series to put away. Habs took the quarters in 6, semis in 4, conf in 5 and finals in 5. OWNED.
And Laffs Nation says they were ROBBED of the Conference Final championship because of ONE missed call which was in game SIX. They had the entire game 7 to take the series but they simply didn't have the tools to do so. Laffs Nation also said (it's ALWAYS coulda, woulda, shoulda with Laffs Nation) that the Laffs would've won the cup had they advanced. That makes 0% sense since they couldn't do anything with LA in SEVEN games and it only took the Habs FIVE to dispose of them. LA was SOFT. SMOOTCH
Ref make the call next time and the leafs will win the cup(-_-)
