I could not get my head around Riot Act for years. It leaves a nasty kind of taste in ur mouth but I love the way they keep progressing. Way too political and personal, but I'm glad they aimed for something far removed from their previous albums. They got so deep but the true fans understand their sorrow. Always leave 'em hungry. My one criticism of pear Jam is the production of their albums. They are compressed to fuck! Binaural especially sounds awful, as does this, I mean, listen to the drums, absolutely no punch, everything is loud, and they've gone and done it to the Ten re issue; squashed it to fuck, its sound horrendous.
