i watched this when i was like 8 and loved the movie , then just recently watched it again and teared up at this song. love this thanks for uploading!!
Whenever I watch this kind of stuff it just intensifies my love for animals..They are beautiful...Always on the watch and aware in the early hours of the morning that nothing runs out in front of my milkfloat..
Thanks everyone for the beautifull and very personal comments on this video. I see a lot of people who remember this movie with warm feelings. I got the DVD since a few days and watched it again...It brought tears to my eyes...again ;-)
My own fault, but im on a paroxetine (Seroxat, Paxil) 4 day cold turkey. Direct result, this & other sentimental things are currently reducing me to floods of tears. Peace.
Made me cry - this was mine and my nans favorite film, we always used to watch it together - thank you so much for bringing back such wonderful memories :*(
Wasn't a U when it came out - it was an 'A' (must be accompanied by an adult). Meant only my older sister could see it at the little (now demolished I hear) local cinema in '79. I wasn't allowed to go. Maybe my folks thought I'd be scared of fighting cartoon rabbits. (No small child should have to fight a cartoon rabbit).
A lot of people know this, but the song's actually by Mike Batt, Mr StarWarsPoster guy. Thought you should know.
Yes! I used to watch it every Saturday morning with my two boys in the 80's at their grandads who'd taped it for them and called it Watershed down. They're bothe in there mid 20's and their therapist says it hasn't done them any lasting harm, apart from the rabbit taken by the eagle, and the ones whose throats were ripped out at the end and... you're probably right after all!
Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!

One of the most endearing stories that I ever read. Still brings tears to my eyes.
For Hazel, Fiver, Pipkin, Blackberry, Silver, Acorn, Bigwig, Speedwell, Hawkbit, and Dandelion.
