I understand both points of view. Christians are skeptic of this book, and its readers are skeptic of Christians. But everyone is living their own experience and their own truth. The root of all of our religions is GOD. You can't really tell someone they are wrong if they believe in God too. The holy books are all interpreted by the reader. No one can tell you what you believe is wrong; part of truly believing is experiencing God.
There is so much I feel the need to say to this video, but I'd have to post like 5 comments. First, as to Neale's comment that you are putting "God vs. Neale's subconscious", you need to think and realize the nature of God. The books state that we are all One, hence this is not a contradictory statement. The concept of doing right, according to what is right to us, is not negated. The book clearly states that you are well to do what is good for you, as it is good for another.

Fifth, IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE that famous people of the past have come to those conclusions and were so wise that they are remembered even now. If we are all One and there is only One God--that WE ALL are ONE--of course it fits. God has stated he has sent messengers to mankind throughout the Ages. Jesus was not the only one, but he was one of them.
Lastly, that email going around with a warning? It was proven a fake. Do some research before making such statements!
Actually, after all that, I have one more thing to say: the Bible has been translated multiple times from its original language, and material HAS been taken out and edited over the years. In other words the original message of Jesus is totally taken out of context and has been edited and translated to fit the opinions and influence of those who had possession of the pen. At least Conversations With God, we can read in it's original form!

May times in my life I tested the existence of God: If you couldn't believe the bible ask him to reveal himself to you in a way you can't explain it. If one is not convicieing ask another one. I think that CwG is beautiful. it teaches respect and tolerance. It encourages sincerity and generosity. I don't agree with absolutely everything in it, but the God character says clearly to Neil: "you're not taking this as gospel, are you? these words are coming through your own personal filter". Also, ther's a bit were Neil doubts that it's really God speaking, and God replied: would it matter if it was your own thoughts and not God's words? people take this all too seriously I think!

The REAL Jesus showed us the way...just as CWG shows us the way, with all the love that the REAL Jesus had. Paul was NOT Jesus and interpreted things incorrectly as to what Jesus meant. There are even great modern day "profits" who's teachings are in line with what the CwG books say.... Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer...ALL of them say the SAME THINGS. We are all one. There is ENOUGH. We are NOT obligated to do anything; everything is a choice. And it isn't a better way, just a different one. Does the bible not say, "Judge not, lest ye be judged first"? Odd, my mother (a writer) who had conversations with God, was put in a mental institution for Shock treatments, even though her mother and father and in-laws were devout Christians. The bible was written by men that claimed they were talking to god. I cannot help but laugh when I saw the words "our infallible book the bible". You've got to be blind to say that about the bible. I understand both points of view. Christians are skeptic of this book, and its readers are skeptic of Christians. But everyone is living their own experience and their own truth. The root of all of our religions is GOD. You can't really tell someone they are wrong if they believe in God too. The holy books are all interpreted by the reader. The books state that we are all One, hence this is not a contradictory statement. The concept of doing right, according to what is right to us, is not negated. I think that CwG is beautiful. it teaches respect and tolerance. It encourages sincerity and generosity. I don't agree with absolutely everything in it, but the God character says clearly to Neil: "you're not taking this as gospel, are you? these words are coming through your own personal filter". There are even great modern day "profits" who's teachings are in line with what the CwG books say.... Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer...ALL of them say the SAME THINGS. We are all one. There is ENOUGH. And so it goes. Human evolution is a slow process. You wouldn't teach university-level physics to six-year-olds, you start them where they are, and move them on slowly. I have not read the books nor have I yet watched the film am about too. It is almost midnight and my two youngest sons have finally fallen a sleep. I am sorry that you have been met with any insults at all. I tend to try and keep my faith as simple as possible. However I understand the passage in regard to reincarnation differently than that which people speak of today. When Elijah was taken by God something of his spirit was left with Elisha. John the Baptist lived in the spirit of Elijah.

Why are you putting out this fear? Neales books have touched so many, especally me, I was almost down the road of ATheisim because of people like you telling me I will go to hell and stuff. Then I read his books and realised we are made up of the same stuff that God is made up of and we are all one. You present these facts as though there is something wrong with them. Or could it be because Neale challanges the authority of your religious leaders or doesn't say your religion is the one true way?

LOL- Jesus himself said basically what god said to Walsch - " why are you so amazed?: these and greater things shall you do!" when we realize we are ONE WITH GOD- (so difficult to understand yet so simple)- then we can perform the same things and more than Jesus- Jesus was trying to get us to understand- "God dwells within you" and '"you are a temple of God" Jesus said the same things...!!!

We see the same problem today that Jesus saw when He was trying to extend love into this world. The Jewish leaders were so concerned with "the word" that they considered Him a radical. We are suppose to "discern" what we experience to conclude if some message comes from God or not, and as Jesus told the Pharisees, satan can't cast out satan. If you put a wall around the bible and dispel everything else, you're missing a lot.

Thank GOD I was not born with Original Sin and given the Orignal Guilt Trip that all the so-called Christians must endure. It must really suck always having to look elsewhere in order to vent and relieve all that guilt pressure.

No Christian was born with original sin. God made all things perfect, Adam & Eve experience sin and was exposed to their own nakedness to sin (weakness, etc...).

The Bible states that our righteousness is only filthy rag. We all inherit this nakedness and Jesus is the only one that did not. Simple a ... makes sense why Jesus died for our sins and rose you don't die to be born again Jesus has done it for you. Jesus Fathers is the father of truth no of lies.

By the way are you against people having a changing life experience through Jesus Christ for the better, a song that comes to mind is AMAZING GRACE. It seem to me you have been tainted with false doctrine by the hypocrites in the world. By the way many have come to Christ as believers ( never committed a crime etc) because they see the trust in the Fathers truth and nothing can come near that in this world.

I dont agree with you in the part about hell because I dont believe no such place exist, I think its religion mythology. But I do agree with u in how negative this world has become(or always was), in this world people seemingly prefer war over love, everything is a competition, everything is survival of the fittest, and everyone seems to be separated by race, cultures and petty human differences. But dont fight such negativity with more negativity, try to embrace it and heal it with love.

When will ideas/beliefs be judged on their philosophical merit, and not on who said it. Every deeply religious person believes that his book/texts come from God. If we are to make any progress in our understanding of the nature of any true God and the purpose of life, then we are going to have to eliminate such spiritually childish ways of thinking.
