He is a good player. Its that were not providing for him, instead of playing the ball too his feet we are giving it to him in the air. With the ball at his feet no-one can seem to tackle him.And if he get the ball in the box he will score. Its just that we are thumping the ball in the air and what are we going to achive by that ? He will score goals and i think he will be the one who will keep us up this season.

im a big boro supporter in Aus so i dont get the local boro news so i dont always know what is going on. From what ive seen of Alves he is a good finisher, give him the ball and he will get it on target but he jst aint getting the ball enough.

this guy scored 2 goals past man utd today (06/04/08) trust me they were awesome finishes, the only problem he seems to have is his movement, but give the ball to him at him feet and he'll put it where it should be.
