Not sure what your problem is, but Warhammer runs pretty well on my PC and it's a cheap 3-4 year old computer. Unlike other MMORPGS I've played, I rarely lag when I'm in huge groups and I never D/C. When I played FFXI and WoW, that was always a huge problem.

If anybody wonders: In order to get the normal trophies you need to kill beasts: wolves, lions etc. ie. 1000 Wolves will give you a "beastiary Token" which can be traded in for a trophy. If you are Destruction you also can recieve a medal for killing ie. 1000 Humans, 1000 dwarfs or 1000 elves (each represented with its own medal)

I think this is a brilliant idea. Between this trophy system and two tone armor dying we'll be able to individualize our characters and make them more relate-able as fantasy representations of ourselves. Looks fun to me. I was on the fence, but dyes and trophies have sold me on this game.

I got my first trophy at level 2 then my second one at level 3.

I think there is enough varity in the game with armor. Most of the differences are very subtle. Still I am sure they will add even more later.

Aspiring for perfect launch days would actually be very detrimental to the industry. The way it is done now is the most efficient way. Games are released months before they're nearly bug-free, developers get cash-flow earlier (this reduces both initial outlays and shortens waits for return on investment therefor shifting the balance in favor of more money invested in games) and players get to enjoy sooner. Great innovative games are always works in progress, not perfect finished products.

Where did you learn grammer and spelling? Regardless, WoW took most of their ideas straight from War. All they did was change a few names, restructure the storyline, and added a few races. Warhammer is twenty-five years old and set the standard for fantasy in the modern times. They invented the Green Orc (Tolkien's were black), the dark elves, etc. While they pay homage to Tolkien as the grandfather of fantasy, they made their own. By the way, this is the best looking beta to date of any game.

It's funny cause the table top Warhammer games were around before warcraft... And the characters look very similar to that of the online game Warhammer. So if you actually did some research... You'd know that in the 25 years Warhammer has been around, warcraft took their art style (hence warcrafts humorous orcs with big shoulders, which originated in Warhammer(atleast in that style)

it's not a waist of time. a big part of the game is about making your character look cool, showing what you have achieved, and looking like a bad ass. just say you've killed an enemy king.. you can wear his skull on your shoulder. that way in a battle, the enemy will see you and think "wow that is one of the guys who took down our king, he must be a bad ass"..

that is pretty cool, and i can't wait for the trophy system

I noticed a significant differnece when I played mmo's with 256 MB Ram and then with 1Gb Ram everything else was the same just the processing speed increased

ok i agree that it might look like wow but it is so much more. The guilds in war are just awesome! there are totally newways of how to complete quests. the towns upgrades as your realm is doing better. the rvr system is beyond wows simple bg and pvp and take pvp to a whole new level WAR FTW
