I'm about as progressive as it gets, but I don't see my views or those of other progressives represented here. Not even in an ad absurdam kinda way. Most progressives abhor legislation which forces us to do anything to protect ourselves. Most of us are civil libertarians. As long as an activity doesn't hurt someone else the gov't should stay out of it. I'm all for labeling, information, and food safety oversight by govt. but not forced behavior. Since the world does NOT reduce to a political duality, and in fact all duality resolves to singularity, this video may be funny for the narrow minded folks who WANT to believe the entire human social order is so reducible, but for those of us to are able to process complexity and understand it is not reducible to such a silly two-dimensional portrayal, this is like a study in anthropology.
