My heart really bleeds when I look at the things that are going on. One thing I am sure about President Obama will never win again! Hes never help Jamaica to develop, yet he influences devastation. Hasnt he got any empathy or sympathy? Why couldnt Obama look at other ways to sort out whatever going on with the shower posse and Cokes involvement?

Of course its apparent that the Jamaicans are killing their own people, but maybe there is more to this than what the eyes can see. Bear in mind, President Obama wanted Coke to be extradited; when he didnt get what he wanted he ceased all Jamaicans visas to America. This puts the Jamaican citizens under huge pressure who in turn put pressure on their Government. What if Bruce Golding was given an ultimatum such as, if he do not extradite Coke then the Americans would go Jamaica.

Tivoli Garden has been a ghetto for a very long time. The people that live in Tivoli are penalised in every way, so it is understandable why they would support someone who provide them with the basic things they need to survive in life. I am not condoning Cokes behaviour, but the people saw him as a blessing undisguised, so why would they want to bite the hands that feed them?

Lets get real, Coke wont give himself up! If you were in his position, would you? Coke knows that if he is extradited he may not come back in one piece. No one wants to face uncertainty. I was born and grew up in Jamaica and I know how it is. If you dont achieve in school then you are basically doom. There are no hand outs in Jamaica. You are responsible for your own medical bills etc, basically you are responsible for yourself with or without a job.

@beyondgreat it may not be the root of the problem but it is the fruit. The artists now are in gangs shooting at one another. We are dealing with a mindset. If you hear "Shot di bwoy" all day from you are a child, it will likely influence your mind.

Jamaica dancehall is also a damn shame. The Passa Passa thing is madness of the highest order - the music has influenced the people to have no respect for themselves at all. Women are treated like dirt and somehow it is kool!
