  • It does'nt look that hard.. but what the hell would I know

  • @D0OMZDAYZ the rope isnt the hard part, the hard part is what they do once theyre on the ground.

  • GET TO THE COPPER !!!!1

  • @adamruddockshrek Copper?

  • @paldesic2009 i ment to put copter its a saying off call of duty modern warfare 2 if you have played it :)

  • @adamruddockshrek Uhm... the contraction 'copter' has been around since at least the 1970's. Just a heads up, so you don't sound like an idiot in the future. We also accept "helo" "bird" "helicopter" "rotorcraft" or the helicopter's actual serial designation.

  • This is one of the many pet peeves that I have with the Regular Army. If they are going to do something that is intended to be fast than do it quickly. As soon as the bird stops flaring, the ropes go out the door and everyone moves like their hair is on fire. It should take no more than a second per person to get out. Why is it that the RA loves to take complex operations and completely fuck it up? They did the same thing with CQB. If youre going to do something, do it correctly.

  • does it look like there in combat retard of course they would do it quickly but does it look like iraq to you

  • Oh okay, last time I checked in the military we "train like we fight". Sorry, I guess I did not notice the camera man on the ground. Please dude, stop making excuse for horrible performance. Train like your life depends on it.

  • Let's see you try then.

  • Try what?

  • If your sayin' they need to do it faster then lets see you try then...

  • Agreed. This is more like slowrope.

  • Who really fucking cares how fast you slide down? When your in combat I dont think you want to have about 140 pounds of gear on and fall off... Better to go down slow than fast. When I was in the Marines I always carried around at LEAST 180 pounds of stuff (I didnt have to though) and I always went down slow.

  • HAHAH! Dude, are you kidding? MARSOC ropes faster than any group of guys I have ever seen before. I am going to laugh if a JSOC Marine reads that; he is going to have some four letter words for you. However, lets apply that same logic to another scenario: instead of running would you suggest walking on an Objective to decrease the risk of injury? Of course not! You would move like your life depends on it because IT DOES! Train like you fight!

  • @RocketRitch88 Were you ever in the military? Dont fucking complain, because when your going down a rope with over 200 pounds, i dont think you want to fall... I always went down slow, and so did everyone else. Yes, we were going right into a firefight.

  • Dude, I love talking to guys like you because the angrier you get the more weight you claim was in your ruck, HAHA! It was 140, now it is 200; I am sure in your next post it will be 250 or 300. To answer your question: not too many civilians have worked with MARSOC or Fast Roped in Combat, so I am going to let common logic reveal my service record. (That means YES, for the mentally challenged). So, what areas of operation have you SLOW Roped into high speed/ no drag (low speed/ safe drag)?

  • Hey, I just looked at you Empire: Total War website and I have some questions for you. You were born in England making you a British Subject. The US Military does not accept foreign nationals unless they are willing to become US Citizens (no dual citizenship). Secondly, you claim to Support Britain. Why would you join the US Military?

  • Now, If you are a claiming to be a Royal Marine Commando: their service obligation is ten years long and you have to stay in the UK, in case you are recalled. So if you enlisted at 17, what are you doing in Staten Island eight years into a ten year enlistment? If you bullshitting just admit it.

  • @RocketRitch88 When Did I ever say I was in the Royal Marines? I was in the US Marines. I came here when I was about 15. I joined the USMC because the US military is alot more elite. I only fast roped 2 times, and one was into Baghdad and another somewhere near Fallujah. Notice I said OVER 140. Which means I could keep saying over 260 or more. But It wasnt. As I said over, the actual weight I carried around was AROUND 210 pounds.

  • If you had sex twice, would you call yourself a pornstar? God, if we only had two fast ropes in a day that would have been a GREAT Day. If you pulled some shit like that under my Command, not only would I make sure every NCO in my Company skull fucked you, I would Article 15 you and make sure you were reassigned to another unit. You do not have the right to place others in danger because you are afraid of sliding down a rope with a sense of urgency. Not everyone you talk to on YouTube is a PFC.

  • I was a first sergeant... I always went down last because I muled the ammo and other stuff around. If someone as careless and retarded as you were my commander, I would be out of that unit in a day. Stop replying to me, because you obviously were not in the military, and you obviously have no idea what its like to fastrope with 210 pounds on your back.

  • LOL! So you are a 25 year old "First Sergeant"? Dude give me a fucking break!Go play Empire: Total War you faggot! I will stop replying to you when you stop lying about serving about being a Marines. You fucking Poser!

  • @RocketRitch88 I dont even play ETW anymore, dumbfuck. Stop claiming to know everything. I was a First Sergeant, I was in the Marines, and you cant deny that. I know a guy thats 23 and an NCO.

  • @dansvidco, Yeah probably an E-5, now that makes sense. Dude, are you fucking retarded? You are not a fucking First Sergeant! It is time you come back to earth. There are GREAT Marine First Sergeants who have given everything in service to this country, AND YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THEM. The simple fact that you would place yourself among those heroes is disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are truly a pathetic excuse for a human being.

  • @RocketRitch88 Why even bother replying? You know your not doing anything. I know I was a Sergeant, and I dont give a fuck what you think

  • @dansvidco, Oh so now it is a SERGEANT? I thought it was a FIRST Sergeant? Those are two completely different ranks, with a world of difference between their duties and responsibilities. Make up your fucking mind TURD! Dude, you are a piece of shit, and I just hope your time on this planet is short; so you do not rob anymore oxygen from future generations. Once again you are a Piece of Shit POSER, and a false flag NOBODY.

  • @RocketRitch88 jesus christ your a fucking idiot. Ok Mr technical I WAS A FIRST SERGEANT. as i said, i know i was one, and done give a fuck about you. Go cry to your mom, your probably 12.

  • @dansvidco, I am the fucking idiot? Dude, you can not even recall what RANK you were in the USMC. A REAL Marine asked you a fucking question are you going to answer him, or are you going to be a fucking TURD like I expect you to be. Let me put it this way, am 28 and I have been in service to my country since I was 17. I have made it my DUTY to expose pieces of shit like YOU daily. I have CHAPTERED so many turd-burgers like you, it is amazing.

  • @dansvidco Oh yeah, Dumb Ass, there is no such thing as the New York Police Department, there is only a New York CITY Police Department or the New York STATE Police, once again you have to pick ONE! If you are going to abbreviate it then ABBREVIATE it with NYPD, which will always be the New York CITY Police Department, you fucking RETARD!

  • @RocketRitch88 LMFAO

    Your just an epic failure. Let me know how 6th grade is.

    NYPD= New York Police Department.

    Look.

    N= New

    Y= York

    P= Police

    D= Department

    There we go! was that so hard>?

  • @dansvidco, ARE YOU FUCKING ILLITERATE TOO!? Read my last posting AGAIN! Abbreviated it is NYPD, but WRITTEN (like on your Channel Page) it is New York CITY Police Department; YOU FUCKING RETARD! Just give me a place and fucking time, so we could fucking work this out... I would love to kick your fucking ass, YOU PUSSY!

  • @dansvidco, If you were ACTUALLY it the NYPD you would fucking know that, POSER!

  • @RocketRitch88 dude this guys a fuckin dumbass no way he was a marine or nypd, just look at his channel hes got some computer game stuff a real marine i dont think would do that

  • @5hiThAppEnS2, Dude this mother fucker, tried to tell me he was a 25 year old First Sergeant (E-8) in the USMC. I can not stand fucking liars. If you did not do shit for our country than do not say shit, it is really easy.

  • @RocketRitch88 Hahahaha so true cause he'd have a slim to none chance of getting waived time and service and time in grade to become an e-8 at 25, especially in the Marine Corps. i got mine waived cause i was only becoming an e-5.

  • @dansvidco ...well whats your MOS and where did you go to mcrd?

  • The second reason is space. The USMC's aircraft operate from carriers, so there is a very limited amount of space available. The UH1 and AH1 have smaller profiles than the Blackhawk and Apache.

  • @ZeroG181 Very correct. Did you also know that the USMC is a branch of the Navy but hate admitting it due to how they view Navy personnel as preps and pricks? No offense.

  • Fast roping can be faster than that. Thats a bad example of it being done tactically. Keep in mind those guys aren't even wearing rifles or ruck sacks.

  • I know. The key word is FAST. the pilot took too long to hold his hover before the ropes were deployed.

  • I wonder why the Marine Corps still uses the UH-1 Huey. The black hawk is so much cooler looking.

  • "cooler looking." Isn't a criteria, It's function over form.

  • You know I asked my seahawk pilot friend the navy the same question. Why the marines use the Huey and the crap cobra when they could use the Apache. His only response was They like to be different. Don't get me wrong he's not trashing on the marines he talks them up all the time

  • Comment removed

  • OOPS,I meant the 60 breaks way easier than an

    UH-1...I've been on both and both are sweet rides...

  • The USMC use the UH1 and AH1 for two main reasons. The first is the interchangability of parts. I can't remember the exact figure, but it was something like 80% of the UH1 and AH1s parts are interchangable. This makes maintenance easier, and less costly. If you think about having to requisition two different lots of spare parts for two different aircraft, and take into consideration the space and cost of that, having compatible aircraft would be the logical choice.

  • that and given their fast first strike role they need smaller aircraft for easy transport and deployment

  • thats really cool great video

  • Great vid, may HAIRY ppl lead...

  • RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!

  • I don't think this is the Rangers. I'm like, 70% sure they're from the 1o1st airborne

  • Yeah looks like the fast rope class at the Air Assault School.

  • I spent 4 1/2 years in the infantry in an air assault unit, and we never rapelled, it's too damn slow, it's just easier and more effective to just land the bird and jump out

  • Contrary to my previous beliefs, helicopter insertions are really quite slow. The soldiers inside were left vulnerable to ground fire for about 10-20 seconds. I'm sure special forces learn to 'fast fast' rope, where the rope is unraveled as the helicopter is moving, and they fastrope just as the helicopter is at a low enough speed to ensure safety.

  • I would think it's only beneficial when trying to insert onto roof tops of areas where touch down isn't possible. A rotary can touch down very quick and dump it's men fast if necessary.

  • This a a very good video about fast roping... I am a UH-60 Pilot myself buy any never had a operation where my soldier onbord had to fast rope

  • Everyone who goes thru "AirAssault School" has to learn to fast rope. Borrowed from the British it WAS intended to replace repelling from choppers, it didn't but it's still employed.
