  • Unity in Diversity.

  • I am a Singapore Singaporean (BORN IN SINGAPORE) not just an "Old" citizen. (vs. so-called NEW citizens)... "We Singapore Singaporeans... pledge ourselves as one united people..." (2:00)

  • My gosh change the pic... definitely not a singaporean face... puh leez!

  • @litmibimi I beg your pardon, that fits...Singapore is an extremely multicultural nation.

  • @GoodWill181111 Gotta be kidding me. This ain't even a Eurasian face! Just because it is multi-racial the picture does not have to necessarily over stretch the truth!! I wasn't in your way so please get off mine.

  • @litmibimi I beg your pardon. Forgive me.

  • @litmibimi It just could me somebody from oversea's face who loves Singapore dearly.

    :)

  • @TheWinxClubFan1000 I am not asking you to agree with my opinion. I am just thinking out loud.

  • @GoodWill181111 Exactly , you are 100% right !

  • @litmibimi Singapore has plenty of people from other places !! Its a multicultural place.

  • @TheWinxClubFan1000 That's what I've been saying, you know?...

  • what can i say? 80s music always the best..

  • Nowadays, lyrics writers only target for teenagers. But they've forgotten, a song that is full of story behind it's back is the most attractive. Classics is the best. But this year NDP song, In A Heartbeat is a not bad MV too :D

  • i wasn't even born when this song was out, but i rmb the familiar tune during our sch's nat day celebrations :)

  • Compared to the newer NDP songs, the classics have a much lower rate of dislikes. :]

Even we, the 'newer' generation, still love the classics, even if we weren't born yet when this song was first composed and released. :D

  • We are Singapore, Singaporeans. Love this song when I was in Primary School. I am still sharing this song with my 7 years old songs. I dont' like his national day song of his times.

  • I still like the Old Classic Songs...

  • oh man, i was in primary one then. and now, most of my friends are married with kids. the national songs these days don't strike a chord in the hearts of singaporeans born about my time.

so many social issues and yet the leaders are incapable to address these issues. and they lost 5 seats to the workers' party and their beloved george yeo. i wonder if they still feel the same about singapore like they did twenty years ago.

  • @MrFastfocusing 1987.. I was 3 years old. Grew up with this song. And yes i totally agree that new national day songs dont mean a thing compared to the old ones. More patriotic, more meaning and ultimately more pride. New songs have become more pop than about the country.

  • @FansOfSuddenattack wtf? are you singaporean? if your not, then shut up and dont insult our country! If you are, then you suck! Like this post if you agree!

  • @FansOfSuddenattack

if you think making a blunt comment on a national song is excusable, you need to reflect upon your action. if you are local, you should be even more ashamed of yourself.

  • i will die if i sing this song !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • once again national day comin

  • who said that singapore won't make it

  • I loveeeee this song WHAT WHO SAID THAT SINGAPORE CAN'T MAKE IT

  • HEAR us lions roar as we get into the world cup(no kidding,we did)

  • Me go eat pizza

    Or do me?

  • I'm listening to this as I play a scrabble game against a British citizen.

  • nothing beats the classics :)
