@MrGiantstpss Check it up yourself...you can actually stickweld alum bud ;) and if you didn´t know it just search on google: "stickweld alum" and you´ll see for yourself.I have stickweld with aluminum and it´s pretty hard to make it look good.

But as i said i am only educated as a welder so what do i know? ;)

@chrilla1980 sounds pretty cool. i worked in a welding shop and never heard anything about that. we either tig welded it or use a mid welder with a spool gun.

@MrGiantstpss You might not have heard it because it isn´t a very common method to weld alum but pretty fun to not say hard.If you get the chance to try it i recomend doing it.

well u cant say they are shit if u don't know how to use one. what do u think they had before wire feed welders. but a mig welder with a shielding gas makes much nicer looking welds

well i used a stick welder before i know how to weld with them a little bit we have one over here on the farm my dad used it on my dirtbike before because my kick start was messed but arc welding has its advantages all im saying is wire feed is alot better !
