@lovewomensharemoney The only way to buy female crabs at market is in countries which don't have conservation laws ie Asia. As this vid is not filmed in Asia a female crab was most likely fished. My lolo used to illegally catch female crabs and then smuggle them across the border. So did many other Asians. Needless to say there are no crabs to fish at these locations anymore.

It's illegal to keep female crabs when they're caught because it depletes the fishery stocks. You can't buy female crabs at the market. People wonder why our fishery industries are no longer sustainable. Hate to say it but a lot of Asians like to eat the "taba" like they call it, when it's actually also the eggs.

Filipinos dont eat Shark fins. Im Filipino. 80% of our food is Spanish so our food is a lot different than other Asians. We dont even use chopsticks lol.
