This reminds me of when I was 7-9 yo. My mom and bro were killed in a car wreck. I alone survived. I used to hear singing in the summertime and I would sneak out at night and walk a couple of miles to the Slaton TX Mt. Olive Baptist church to be close to the music. I was the only white face there, but those precious people made me feel welcome and their singing comforted my heart. I have loved this kind of music ever since then.

As a child, I loved listening to her wonderfully gifted voice from the Lord above. Such Large amount of encouragement in the Lord's name! I wrote an essay about her in Junior High and remember getting an "A." Her life's story is very enlightening to the Follower of Christ.
