Chad, your time lapse/chasing footage are incredible. Storm chasing is such a passion of mine even though once in a while is a successful chase (being that I'm from S.E NY and even severe t-storms are seldom), but DAMN, I'd give anything to see the real deal in the midwest where the dry line is your best friend and supercells are frequent!

for those of you asking about the Lightning bugs - they can be best seen from around :13 and on... They are bugs that have the ability to produce a yellow or greenish light. They come out towards dusk and into the night during Summer. Look towards the bottom of the screen and watch the white flashes that zoom by almost like car head lights.

@ipod14202 The video is really sped up, it was probably a timelapse. At the end you can see small yellow lights zoom across the screen at the bottom. They just looks like a couple of yellow pixels but they're all over the place!

@FTWConnor A lightning bug is a bug that emits a green or yellowish light pulse during the night. In my areaof the US, they come around May and last til August
