Not to be a dick but the of some of the footage of the prehistrioc sea creatures is from a documentery about prehistric life. No offense to the author. I love his other book about the loch ness monster. And think he is a great author.

i have just also read the book 'Hell's Aquarium'. this book was a very enjoyable and entertaining read. i will no doubt be buying more of the 'Meg' series. anything to do with these creatures of the deep absolutely fascinates me!. total shark fan.

I love the Meg series. I burned through the first one in three days (reading over a hundred pages a day), and then read the second one in about in five. I started the third one today, and it's already looking to be a great read.

When I first heard of the series, I'll admit I was skeptical. I mean...shark related material doesn't always turn out that great, especially when involving the megalodon, but Meg blew me out of the water. It was brilliant!

im reading this in my science class at first i hated reading and found it boring but when i saw a documentary on megalodon on history channel and saw the cover i bought it and started reading on my way and back to school its so sick that these sharks eat whale

HEY EVERYONE!! MY BIRTHDAY JUST PASSED AND I'M 17 NOW!!! Anyway, for one of my presents my mom was going to get me a MEG shirt off of the Steve Alten website, but because he was on a book tour, it took a while before I finally got it. My mom and him were e-mailing each other back and forth and she mentioned that it was my birthday. He replied back saying that he'll send me something great as a gift, and guess what I just got today. I GOT A HELL'S AQUARIUM POSTER SIGNED!!!!! IT'S SO DAMN COOL!!!!

I've read & enjoyed the previous 2 books,but,Hell's Aquarium,has been my favourite so far.I like the humour,the scientific research,the carnage dealing with these creatures & that Dubai is featured in here.With all of the money they are spending in Dubai,it's not a stretch to think they might want to have an aquarium like the one that Steve writes about..If whomever did the video for the book,was involved in the making of a movie,I think it would work really well.Great job Steve!.Thanks,Jeff.
