I agree, the film wasn't all that amazing because there was just too much story to fit in to a movie. The motion comic and the series itself were amazing, movie was good, but incomplete. I really loved the motion comics though, so great.

This is cool...but it is better to just read the graphic novel. The main problem with this release is that the same narrator does the voices for ALL the characters...(what the hell were they thinking!?)

Yeah I got the motion comic as soon as it came out and it was very good. My biggest problem was couldnt they have gotten at least one woman to do the female voices? Kinda shoots certains sceens to hell.

actually i loved the fact that he did all the voices! i mean if it weren't for him speaking in the women's voices than nobody wouldve been able to notice! and they were trying to go with that like comfy at home feeling... i say they hit it!

just bought it, it's pretty neat. it's divided into 12 episodes, one for each issue. I've only got through one part, it's just like the comic, word for word and panel for panel. It seems to be missing the articles and such that accompany each issue. also one person does all the voices, even the female ones. but still it's kinda cool.

No, it's missing some very minor dialogue of certain parts, nothing too important. It gives the narrated story a bit more flow, so they're very conservative cuts.

The New Frontiersman,

Treasure Island Treasury Of Comics

and all the rest plus the narration is mediocre.

Like it says at the end of each episode

"Be sure you read the original Watchmen graphic novel"

This "Motion Comic" is no substitute for it.

For those of you who said the movie sucked. It's probably because you have never read the series. You would appreciate the plot more, it's not simply about action, there's a very intriguing plot. And if you say "talking is boring" then go and see Fast and The Furious.

The dialog is all done by one man... which makes sense, because it sounds like it would if you had read it aloud to yourself.
