Is it not a bit lamentable that the Black Panther "threat" has now been replaced by a deluge of pistol totting gangster rappers. What is worse - gangs and drug dealing or Black Panthers? It's also quite interesting that the "win their hearts and minds" campaign of the Panthers was quite effective as a community based organization, and it would not be surprising if Mr. Hoover really did consider the Panthers the greatest domestic threat to the USA.
