How could Obamacare be permissible under the Interstate Commerce clause if you can't buy healthcare insurance across state lines? That's a complete contradiction. Apparently Pelosi is unaware that interstate means between states. Healthcare insurance right now is INTRAstate, and thus not permitted to be regulated by the Federal government under the Interstate Commerce clause.
I think Federal political have gained too much power to the point of becoming helplessly and perpetually corrupted by that power. I think we must find away to take that power from them with out using them, because as they have proven in the past in our previous efforts to reduce the size of government, they make at best Tolkien changes while expanding it elsewhere. Power Corrupt and Washington now weld too much of it to be receptive to our direct electoral demands. We must decentralize power!
Required healthcare is both a violation of the 13th Amendment (involuntary servitude -I don't wish to be a slave to either the federal gov't or big business) and substantive due process -required healthcare interferes with personal privacy.
@MrExnihilo Please Help. Tyranny in the juditial branch of California. Though an act of legislation the California juditial system has admitted to be corrupt and had been granted retro active imunity from prosicution. (see) SBX211
@MrExnihilo I've heard one actually use the 13th amendment to strike down a law lol but it doesn't matter because Obamacare exceeds the powers given to Congress by the commerce clause.
