To be fair, the game had potental...too bad they didn't spend enough time in developing the gameplay to reach that potental.

I think going straight into the action would have been better. But I like it when SEGA give the cutscenes more meaning by making the actions and things within it more human. It makes the story much more convincing. But then again, Shadow's Opening was perfect. And only 47 secs long.

not only that but the controls and game play is so buggy that you dye all the time, normally that that big of a flaw, but with killer loading EVERY time it just bites at your sanity a little, i didnt even bother beating shadows and silvers stories, just look up all the videos on the net and you will be happier and better off

If they hadn't been rushed, the game would have come out a year later, and would have included all the buddy characters playable in their own episode, as well as Metal Sonic. There's a lot more they left out, and I found out what all of it was at Sonic Retro, in the "game secrets" section of the game's page.

To kingt34, elise recognizes silver because she faintly remembers her giving her the blue chaos emerald. This apparently caught the blue chaos emerald in an endless loop through time until Solaris' defeat ultimately redid time, to where Elise never had the emerald and never met silver or sonic.

Thats what I thought at first but Im pretty sure she saw him when Shadow and Silver first saw her father working on Solaris,then she went unconcious but Silver handed her the emerald. They could make a second next gen if they wanted to but they probably dont want to introduce all the chars again plus not to mention Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 which ruins the chances

I'm a long time Sonic the Hedgehog fan and the only thing that was good about this game was the soundtrack. The game sucks. Sad but true. In fact, this is currently rivaling Sonic Heroes for worst Sonic game I've ever played. Don't like my opinion? Tough meat my friend. Should I stop playing the games? I don't see why as Sonic still has his share of good titles being released. But the hard truth is that the majority of modern Sonic games just plain suck.

The bad camera isnt that bad. Sonic and Elise is just wierd. Sonic with humans is better cuz its just a bunch of silly crap if not, with no humans, the ideas get too crazy and seem like it allows ANYTHING, no challenge cuz nothing real holds u back. THe voice actors aren't bad, pple are just too picky, in this game everyone sounds serious and has expression. The long loading time does kill it tho. But this isnt the game's opening, it's the 1st scene in sonic's story. The game has no opening.
