Sure its easy to shout catchy slogans like "Free Tibet!" But you have to look deeper to see how China's future is completely dependent on Tibet's resources (namely water). The way China is treating Tibetans and their culture is horrible, but you have to look at the issue from both sides.

Come on people, be logical, a few banners and protesters is NOT going to change the way a DIFFERENT country works. The CCP doesn't give a damn about you hippies, work with them to make the change.

People need to understand the huge passions and expectations that Chinese have put for the Beijing Olympic game. It is a stupid idea to hijack this game for any political demanding because it will deeply hurt Chinese feeling and push Chinese to the edge to be more united to resist any western idealism even though some of them make sense and work better for the Chinese.

Anyway, you need to convince Chinese that you are the helpers instead of enemies.

Actually buying Chinese-made products is not a bad thing, although I would avoid doing business with regime-owned companies if possible. But the more products are sold and prosperous average Chinese people become, the more likely they are to rise up against the neo-communist Beijing regime.
