Sorry Wiffler your story doesn't make any logical sense, or you got the Solohitter confused with the SwingAway because the Swingaway doesn't break. The cords will wear out with use and if High School bought the retail version of the SA instead of the PRO-Line then shame on them. You must work for SoloHitter or probably used to before the layoffs
This video wouldn't be posted by a Swing Away employee, would it? Spoke to 4 different high school coaches who were impressed at demos, purchased them and ALL 4 said it broke w/in the first 2 weeks of practice.
Doesn't matter which one you have, as long as you DO WORK on it.

The Machine on the left is the SwingAway, the one one the Right is the Solo Hitter.
That SwingAway Machine is Only $199.99 and can be purchased directly from Swingaway's website or at a Sports Authority store.
