It was wrong for America to get the Taliban involved in their battle, but being British I care more for the safety of BRITISH soldiers and with that comes the safety of American soldiers. Given my way nobody would be fighting but never will there be an ideal world.

@KiNGG2K8 Actually America did NOT have beef with the Taliban until they decided to harbour Osama Bin Laden and not cooperate with the U.s Government with revealing Al Qaeda identities. So, in essence, bc the Taliban has "Host-to-guest" type obligations with Al Qaeda, the Taliban backs them, and helps supply them, with food, shelter, ammo etc. This does not sit well with American decision makers obviously. So American forceshave been at war with the Taliban since we stepped into Afghanistan.
