I was there too. Farther back, but in the same general area. After viewing some videos from last years fireworks on New Years, I'm kind of disappointed. Every night I was there, it was too windy for fireworks. The nights we were at the hotel, the fireworks went off. I've seen them before in previous years, but still... we saw half a fireworks show one night then they stopped it in the middle. (windy)
i knew they were going to cancel to the fireworks the winds are bad i live in the Temecula Valley WINDS ARE BAD the fire officials are all over the area because they worried because of a major fire hazard
I was there too..however, I wasn't near this spot. I was by this churro stand that was blocking my view of the stage and the castle...well, at last partially, haha.
It was too packed, cold, and I didn't get to see Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve.
But I still had a good time, and it was a memorable experience :)
Hey! I was there last night and I was actually standing right next to you! I don't know who you are, but I was standing in that exact spot. I was a little bummed about no fireworks, but the castle was neat. Happy New Year!
It was weird enough to see this video, but weirder to see all the comments in this thread about people being in that spot. I was about 20 feet away from this spot about 30 minutes earlier!! We left to go back by Small World where I took video. Disappointing not to have fireworks this year, but I got a great recording of the small poof that they did shoot off...plus I could actually hear Auld Lang Syne without the booms! Happy 2008 everyone!
Cool, no fireworks, that New Year's show at Disneyland started at 12:00 AM, but in the eastern time zone, it was 3:00 AM and they're already left Time Square, because a lot of people are sleeping. Anyways, Happy 2008!

but i was at california adventure soaked up at that water ride and it was freakin' cold!!!!
but i left disneyland resort, so it sucked.
