No, money means Jim has access to good lawyers if he wants it. There are plenty of people put away who don't ever have a chance of getting out because they have no money. If you work with defense lawyers, then you know the importance of money. You must know how many poor sick people are put away or living in deplorable conditions because they don't have money for treatment.
Is there a link for the Rolling Stone article? I couldn't bring it up.
He attempted to get help and the physicians treated him for alcoholism. Before you make such statements, perhaps you should research your subject. The physicians who treated Jim Gordon should be held accountable for their actions. Enough said.
I've never heard any accounts of Jim trying to get help...Can you provide a link or something backing up your assertation? If he was diagnosed with alcoholism with the symptoms he exhibited, that would be criminal.
I would think that would have gotten a lot of attention. Certainly any good defence attorney would use that fact on appeal.
Jim Gordon is a very rich man. Maybe the richest inmate in America.
Love his singing on the "Layla" album. And he co-wrote some of the highlights of that album with Clapton: "I Looked Away," "Keep on Growing," "Anyday" and "Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad". Coco doesn't get a word in edgewise here!
I am fortunate enough to have seen on several Sunday nights Bobby and Coco at the Saxon Pub. Its a great show, I highly recommend it if you happen to be in Austin Texas!
It doesn't get much better. Austin is so cool to live in. Thanks for posting this great stuff. Great music, great interview, and great tidbits of R&R history. It's so good to see Bobby & Coco, making music. Him and Eric are the only ones around from those sessions, sadly enough. Of course Carl & Duanne passed, I think Jim is still tripped out somewhere? Not sure...anyways, that's only a part of Bobby's talent. He's a great guy too! Check him out if you get a chance!
Yeah..the whole breakup of Derek & The Dominoes was largely from just 2 much drugs. Eric locked himself up & was 2 paranoid 2 open his doors, even when Bobbie spent all day beating on the door & pleading 4 Eric 2 open up. Even though Bobbie had lived with Eric at one time, Eric just closed himself up in a heroin & booze shell. Jim tripped out & like a dumbass killed his mother, and is in the loony bin somewhere. Ur right, he won't be around for a while. Thanx 4 posting this cool stuff. Take care
Blah, blah, blah, blah....I wish he could speak English.

No, not the best choice of words. All I can say is that when you hear voices telling you to murder people, get some help...
