Wow, earthling1984, you are so cool. you can fly airplanes AMAZINGLY and helicopters AMAZINGLY, I fly airplanes and helicopters and I'm okay at both but you are AMAZING!!!
@OMGitsMichael12345 both are great. I'd probably say go with the t-28 just because it has the cool steerable nose gear and no rudder wheel to get ripped off.
@pointnozzleaway it's a great plane! you will enjoy it! if you want something newer, check out the micro trojan by parkzone, it is another great choice!
@biggestfire the amount of 'channels' really is the amount of things you control. 2 Channel planes usually have only throttle and elevator. 3 Channel planes usually have throttle, elevator, and rudder(sometimes ailerons and no rudder). 4 Channel planes have Throttle, ailerons, elevator, and rudder. And so on. More channels are used for things like flaps, retract gear, bomb drop, lights, smoke, etc.
@paulwilliamsd No... if you are a beginner I would recommend a 3ch high wing trainer. If you are looking at micro planes(about the size of the plane in this video) I would suggest the Parkzone J-3 Cub or Hobbyzone Champ.
I just got one of these today for my first 4 channel plane, and dang, is it crazy! It is very sensitive with the RTF remote and after I got used to it, it was so much fun! Took a couple little crashes but nothing serious. Had to glue a landing gear back on and that was it. But the stock battery it comes with doesnt like to last long at all. Maybe 5 minutes tops. I bought 160mahs and they last a few minutes more. Nice video though man I love these things.
I have the sukhoi, its great and VERY durable.I must have crashed it 200+ times and its still flying. just tape or glue and its like new. What makes you say the P51 is better than the sukhoi? Can you explain why?
@MIRCWOOD it isn't 'better' but it has more power 'stock' than the sukhoi... although they are completely different planes. the P-51 is a warbird and the sukhoi is more of an aerobatic plane, so it isn't really fair to compare them.
a 3CH may have been better, however, if you already purchased it, I'm sure you can fly it. Best place to fly these ultra micros is an indoor gym. You will have best luck learning indoors as there is no wind, and less obsticles. Good luck!
I've flown this, the sukhoi, and the ember 2 with up to 10mph wind. Anything over 10mph and it gets too windy. 5 to 6mph should be ok. I usually don't fly now unless it is 7mph or less. Try early morning or like 5-7pm at night. Usually morning and night have the least wind.
if you don't have a transmitter, the ultra micro mustang shown in this video is a good one to start with. Of the other small planes I have videos of, it is the only one to come in a RTF(sukhoi and P-40 only in BNF or ARF kits). The Mustang RTF kit is $129.99 at horizonhobby.
You can get them at hobby stores in your town, or online from online hobby stores. One good one is horizonhobby. You won't find them in 'toy stores', or at least not good ones like this.

mine nose dives anytime it truns am I doing something wrong while truning?
GFLYYER 1 year ago
@GFLYYER rudder turns will cause the nose to drop, you need to use elevator to hold altitude.
earthling1984 1 year ago
@earthling1984 thanks man i'll do that next time I fly it.

Nice Video...
I was looking at the tree, as I'm wondering... how much wind can this plane take and still be enjoyable to fly?
I'm thinking about buying it, but nit sure because I usually don't have less than 5-6 mph winds...

Nice!! Can u tell me if the e-flight mlpdsm 2.4ghz transmitter what comes with the blade mcx will work on this on bnf ?
Trooper101st 2 years ago
yes, it would. I used the mCX TX for my sukhoi, and other planes until I got my DX6i. It will work, but a DX6i will give you much more options.
earthling1984 2 years ago
i found these batteries on ebay. (5) for $15. i get a about 40 mintuse of flying. just make sure they have more than a 10 c drain.
