the tales from the forest of gnomes means tales in peoples lives. its tied into the song how he says "dont get caught in yesterday all the things we've heard have left and made there way" thats he ties in the title to the song.

My only problem with Wolfmother is the lyrics. ALL their songs have something to do with Love... and whilst the songwriting itself is pretty strong, I wish they'd go a little deeper. Cuz listening to them stoned is quite something, but then you remind yourself that what they're singing about is a little redundant.

That being said, the music bloody rocks the fuck outta' modern bullshit "rock".

@goawayondoor Well yes and no. Love is both a great and terrible thing, and without a doubt deserves being talked about, but to make 2 albums generally BASED on it becomes a little annoying. They have a strong enough lyricist and a strong enough sound to pull of something major. Something a little more deep and meaningful.
