huns..... we can hate all we want just remember this when we walk out that door it does not matter if we are bi or drag or lipstick or whatever all that matters is that we arent straight and a lot of people are going to hurt us for that we need to stand together
To me, my sexuality is basically drawing the line at children and animals. Men, women, older, younger. I see it as that I didn't (or wouldn't) fall in love with a gender or age, I fall for a person and whatever body that person comes in is completely secondary. Talking plainly physically, men and women both turn me on, and emotionally/mentally/spiritually/what have you it all depends on the individual.
I absolutely hate the terms lipstick lesbian, masculine gay man, feminine gay man, and butch lesbian... I think that it is the gay community taking a step backward from what we are fighting for.. we are all people. why do we need labels inside of a label?
As a feminine gay, I would have wanted to be labeled as the cook. The cook is normally viewed as a woman, because they're the homebody and the one that does the traditional women things. Feminine gays like myself have a woman's mentality.
Not to mention that we're normally the bottoms, ergo the bitches, and that whole "Bitch, make me a sandwich" joke plays into account. :P
It really breaks my heart to see members of the same community be so ignorant towards each other. We're all fighting the same fight, we all want to be accepted for who we are, yet we don't even make an effort to understand each other. We are better than this.
To me, being a bi-sexual is not about being indecisive. It's about looking at a woman and loving her feminine physique and loving her harlequin mind, her gentle disposition and her motherly instinct. But then you look towards a guy and are attracted by that sense of power and strength and pride. You love the instinctive protectiveness of them. You know women are those to hold your heart dearly and men will protect your heart from anything. That is how a TRUE bi-sexual thinks.
@TheVampireKnightess Well bisexuality is not just about feminine qualities in women and manly qualities in men. It's also about manly women, feminine men, beautiful personnalities, kind hearts... It's more about loving a person than a gender or gender role.
I hate all this biphobia on here. Admittedly, I came out as bisexual before I realized I was a lesbian, and it was because I found men attractive, but I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with one. The spark wasn't there. So it makes me angry when people discriminate because maybe for some people the spark is there.
Where is the transman? They have a feminine gay man, a masculine gay man, a feminine gay woman, a masculine gay woman, a transgender woman.....but no transguy to balance out that perspective :/.
Absolutely disgusting. This is the ugliest example of my community I have ever seen. It is interesting and important in the sense that these ridiculous prejudices actually exist within gay culture. I am fortunate to have rarely encountered them since I do try to avoid association with incredibly ignorant and petty people in my life. These specific individuals, as well as all those who think like them need to step back and think hard about what the fight for gay civil rights is really about.
How dare that fucking twat insult that lovely drag queen.
Has anyone forgotten the Stonewall riots? Those were drag queens fighting for our rights as individuals. If it werent for them, where do you think our community would be?
@tripeandbean Firstly, that was a joke. And secondly, yes they do. Believe it or not, there ARE people (very few) who simply aren't attracted to anyone.
I don't like the way they treated the bisexual man... Just because he finds both genders attractive, does not mean he wants to get with every living human! Gee... You'd think they'd be more understanding.
Being confused and being bisexual is NOT the same thing. When I was confused, I did not know if I liked only guys, only girls, both or neither. Really...I was in a situation where it could have been either of them. A bisexual knows that they like both and that]s it. I I hate hate hate it when gay people bitch about bisexuals. Talk about being hypocrites.
Dude I'm a gay man and I'm embarrassed on how the gay community treats bisexual people :/ I'm sorry to any bisexual person who watched this and felt insulted! I'm shocked :/ Same to Drag Queens! A clown? I mean I'd never dress up as a woman but they are still people :/ Geez we're all fighting for the same thing, equal rights! Why are we fighting among ourself :/
It's fascinating how people within the gay community judge each other too. No matter which group you're in (race, sexual orientation, religion, hair color, etc), if you are somehow different from someone in your group, you will always be judged. It's a terrible reality.
The only thing that stood out in this episode was how the gay people made a fool of themselves, and how Tyra broadcasted it for the world to see. I'm embarrassed.
I'm shocked at how many people are shocked that these people disagree and argue with each other. They're different people from different backgrounds. A lot of people think they're all part of the LGBT community so they should all have the same views. Thats like saying we're all Americans so we should all have the same views. I know several LGBT members who could care less about having the right to marry. Just because one factor unites these people, doesn't mean they all want the same thing.
i am gay, not flamboyant becuz i just cant be ive tried, i do not wear my sexuality as a shield so im just me but gay. i would not date a flamboyant male because i like males, butch guys or at least people who are real. Although i have lots of friends who are flamboyant i dont date femes no prejudice, i would not date a bisexual for one major reason: its already bad that i have to worry about a guy stealing my man now i have to worry about girls 2 frickin A its too much
they are labeling themselves when they know they are already labeled? i don't understand. i thought they would be loving each other and be united for what they stand for.
what a horrible group of examples... tyra gets her award for painting a good picture of the community and then brings on the worst examples of them? damn.
Even though I do believe people can be bisexual, I can see how the bisexual is considered a pariah in their kingdom (at least on the show, have no idea bout the real world). everyone on there is gay and has to live with what comes with being gay. the bisexual though has an out. he can get married to the opposite sex, have kids and live a normal life, discrimination free. no one ever has to know he is bi. not saying its right, but it does make sense.
@searchanddiscover Not really. If the person is bi, it means that he/she falls in love for people from both gender. If at the end, this person recognize his soul mate and it happens that he/she is from the same gender as the person, well, he/she have jugments too.
I wish they had a pansexual. He/she would be the one saying "I should be the queen/king because I can treat people without judging them, because to me they are all the same."
Wow, what a bunch of hypocrites! Who cares that we don't know weather we'll end up with a boy or a girl, that we end up with someone or spend our life with someone whom we love is the ONLY point!! and it's all that matters!!

How can we expect to be accepted for who we are, to have equal rights, etc when there are some many people within the community who are discriminating against each other?
@tyrannosauruser Agreed. The transgendered woman was very confident and sure of herself, while still remaining respectul of everyone else's sexual/gender identities. The others were hypocritcal pigs.
oh my god the drag is just funny.............i mean listen to her even after what the guy said about her hiding something. she made that harsh comment funny..........girl if its no the least, at least the jester brings happiness into our lives ;D
ps the drag is still smiling on the show with her jester tag ;D
@Dannyfan1997 I agree with everything you said, but especially about having a pansexual in the mix. So few people know about pansexuality that it gets overlooked a lot.
gay people who bash bisexuals are an embarrassment, how can you judge someone for who they fall in love with, if someone is attracted to both they're attracted to both, that's not a flaw it's who they are.
how he said 'since you had a few drinks and fell in love with a man & woman doesnt make you bisxual' is like saying just because they haad a drink & slept with a woman doesnt make them lesbian & just with a man doesnt make you gay. they have to think before they speak. this is a bad representation.
I'm a butch lesbian n I love my bisexual sisters lovers n friends so hey it don't matter pussy is pussy so it's whatever. I love u rather u gay bi or not sure ok love is love n I love all females.
as a bisexual i do believe the bisexual should have been the pauper because thats how i feel in my own community. like an outsider and that really hurts big time. not all make me feel this way but the people in this video did, and thats got to change!
I think that it's just more rare to find a truly bisexual person. Most other parts of the gay community remember a point where they we're only questioning everything. While I was doing that, I thought I was bisexual. It took a long time to realize I only wanted to be with women, but it hurt when people put me down for being "only bi". I feel like we shouldn't be discriminating against each other, because what we all really want is equality. It just doesn't make sense to me.
@EmillieEnvironment i agree with you but yes i am truly bisexual i am not confused and i hate that people say that.ive had true feelings emotional and physical for both since i was 12 and i am now 24. if i had came out as gay to my family they really would not have cared they would have supported me, but bi forget about it.because there are people abusing the title of bi i get crapped on and it hurts its like i'm not important in my own community.i'm not saying your doing that but it happens!
Miss drag is right, lesbian who are more feminine get accepted easier....that is why lesbian are more afraid to dress like a guy and act like one... hehehe come to Norway people here is full of them...
@stevee601 You may disagree with this, but I believe to some extent a "bisexual" person will always favor one sex over the other; it's just human nature. I think bisexual people eventually come to that realization and move accordingly. I, for one, used to be bisexual, but as I got older I realized that I like women more. Now I identify myself as a lesbian.
Fuck these annoying people. The bisexual is confused? All bisexual people get drunk and sleep with both sexes? Really?
The bisexual man is right, these people are no better than the straight people who judge them. There's nothing confusing about bisexuality. If you ask me, it's more confusing why the drag queen dresses as a female but doesn't just get gender reassignment surgery. Just what is (s)he?
I expected better from a group of people used to being unfairly judged and scrutinized!
he actually said "you can FIX my car but don't come near me" pretty much saying society, straight males, generally (not all, lol don't attack me on this one) find masculine lesbians okay to hang out with but very unattractive and even gross.
im a bisexual woman and because im now engaged to a man i got told im not a bisexual, just because you dont know who you want doesnt mean youre confused about it, it simply means you like both
I dunno why they're not accepting the bisexual man, that makes them just as bad as straight people that bash gays. The bisexual man accepts BOTH AND ALL. >_<
the drag queen is funny. i like drag queen they r always funny. hwever i really dont like how everyone is discriminating bisexual. i guess its just human nature to always think they are better then others...
@lorcanfurey111 Well, the Tyra show didn't exactly pick out the best people to represent the LGBT community. Trust me, most of us are NOT like that at all.
I'm very girly, and I also happen to like girls. But i do get a lot of shit from more "butch" lesbians because I'm not "gay enough".
I am aware that the MAJORITY of the LGBT community is very understanding and accepting, it just bothers me that there are still people like them. You know?
I don't understand why they think they deserve to be accepted when they can't accept others.
@lorcanfurey111 Sorry for misinterpreting what you said originally. I know there are some people like that within our community, and it really sucks. Your example really shows the stupidity of some people. If a girl is attracted to only girls, she's gay. Being girly or masculine doesn't affect the fact that you're only attracted to women.
@lorcanfurey111 not all of us are that way, though you are right about the whole how can we judge when we don't like being judged either. how can you expect straight people to take you seriously and accept you when you can't even accept each other for who they are and were born to be. so sad!

how he said 'since you had a few drinks and fell in love with a man & woman doesnt make you bisxual' is like saying just because they haad a drink & slept with a woman doesnt make them lesbian & just with a man doesnt make you gay. they have to think before they speak. this is a bad representation.

Wow! What's with all the bi-hatred? I think bisexual people should be respected because they know that love is love, regardless of gender...

as a bisexual i do believe the bisexual should have been the pauper because thats how i feel in my own community. like an outsider and that really hurts big time. not all make me feel this way but the people in this video did, and thats got to change!

EmillieEnvironment 9 months ago
@EmillieEnvironment i agree with you but yes i am truly bisexual i am not confused and i hate that people say that.ive had true feelings emotional and physical for both since i was 12 and i am now 24. if i had came out as gay to my family they really would not have cared they would have supported me, but bi forget about it.because there are people abusing the title of bi i get crapped on and it hurts its like i'm not important in my own community.i'm not saying your doing that but it happens!

You cant be bi-sexual?? That's like saying you cant like peanut butter AND Jelly. wtf. Yeah, you can have both.

Miss drag is right, lesbian who are more feminine get accepted easier....that is why lesbian are more afraid to dress like a guy and act like one... hehehe come to Norway people here is full of them...

@stevee601 thank you
obsessedtwifan33 7 months ago
@stevee601 You may disagree with this, but I believe to some extent a "bisexual" person will always favor one sex over the other; it's just human nature. I think bisexual people eventually come to that realization and move accordingly. I, for one, used to be bisexual, but as I got older I realized that I like women more. Now I identify myself as a lesbian.
TheMODEGeek 6 months ago
@TheMODEGeek i agree with you. most bisexuals tend to lean homosexuals and then become full homosexuals.

BRUTAL4SWEETNESS 1 year ago

"People judge me for being -insert sexuality-"
Excuse me, aren't you judging them? Each and everyone of you.
If YOU can't accept each other, how DARE you expect the heterosexual community to?
The hatred and ignorance within the LGBT community disgusts me.
lorcanfurey111 1 year ago
@lorcanfurey111 Well, the Tyra show didn't exactly pick out the best people to represent the LGBT community. Trust me, most of us are NOT like that at all.
espanolmuchacho 1 year ago 3
@espanolmuchacho
Haha I know we're not all like that
I'm very girly, and I also happen to like girls. But i do get a lot of shit from more "butch" lesbians because I'm not "gay enough".
I am aware that the MAJORITY of the LGBT community is very understanding and accepting, it just bothers me that there are still people like them. You know?
I don't understand why they think they deserve to be accepted when they can't accept others.
lorcanfurey111 1 year ago
@lorcanfurey111 Sorry for misinterpreting what you said originally. I know there are some people like that within our community, and it really sucks. Your example really shows the stupidity of some people. If a girl is attracted to only girls, she's gay. Being girly or masculine doesn't affect the fact that you're only attracted to women.
espanolmuchacho 1 year ago
@lorcanfurey111 not all of us are that way, though you are right about the whole how can we judge when we don't like being judged either. how can you expect straight people to take you seriously and accept you when you can't even accept each other for who they are and were born to be. so sad!
sillykatz 9 months ago
I think they picked the worst people from the LGBT community to come on this show.
It's ... actually awful, they all are as bad as each other.
