  • Mr Lucas and Mr Grainger were a hard act to follow but I think Mr Spooner has some of the best one liners in the show overall..The writers really ramped it up when he came in..I mean his slagging of Mrs Sloakham was vicious at times..very funny stuff..great episode..Mr Humphries musta been racked with guilt after jumping Mr Brahms bones at the Ballet..haha! very funny end to the episode..lol..

  • The short suitor also played the suitor of Edith Artois! :)

  • I noticed they put the original cast up front at the end, like in the last ep (was it the last one?) They ended the show using the original cast. Do you think the writers knew the replacements sucked?

  • It's Monsieur Leclerc from "Allo, Allo'!

  • I love Mrs. Slocumbe and her drinking issues. Amazing actress. Just impeccable.

  • @ 17:23 He played an Oompah-Loompah in "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate factory" No wonder he was digging her blue hair.

  • Lol the customer in the green suit is the cook from "You Rang M'Lord?"!

  • "a packet of crissops". sounds Egyptian ;)

  • what are pork scratchings?

  • @bossyboots55

Pork rind... that's to say pig skin, fried till it's crunchy and eaten as a snack or as nibbles with a beer. Disgusting stuff!

  • @bossyboots55

oh thanks! shd eat it with some tomato sauce or chilli sauce then:)

  • Funny how in G&F, Mrs Slocome has graduated to simply passing the tonic bottle over the gin. Looks like she got over her dislike of straight gin.

    I realize AYBS wasn't canon.

I stared into the AYBS and the AYBS stared back, and I laughed.

  • Gin and Tonic, anyone?....Lol, with a slice of lime, very uppercrust...

  • The end is so hilarious :D

  • I know what Pa de Du means, Father of twins

  • Mr. Humphries looks almost like an older, British Kurt Hummel from Glee..... Just a funny thought..... You can agree or disagree.

  • The pussy jokes never get old !

  • It is He!! Le Clérc.......

  • Love Slocombe's dealings with her customers...very funny!

  • LOL Ms Brahms knows all the moves

  • I always feel the way Slocombe feels in this episode... xD

  • @mrhumphries4u Well, I don't blame Mrs. Slocombe for having erotic dreams about Mr. Humphries either :D

  • Love the scene in the canteen where Mr. Abraham Klein discribes how he met his wife.

  • What exactly happened at the end, it was not clear. Did Mr. Humphreys actually initiate affection, or more, with Miss Brahms!!??

  • @SeattleLA Lol I no, right?!! WHAT happened there?? That was like Jeromy and David ending the ep. Just ending it. xD

  • @chumshot1 Yes, you are right

  • @SeattleLA LOLOLZ Its pretty funny tho xD

  • It is I leclerc... who else from Allo Allo will turn up?

  • @260rachel rene was in the previous episode :)

  • if I was having erotic dreams I would be having them about Trevor Bannister's Mr Lucas who was in the show up until series 7. He was so good looking and he had an adorable cheeky smile!

  • Help! Lol

  • I cracked up when the midget man ran up the stairs to the lift HAHAHAHAHAAA

  • @LeinMarjo The gentleman was a dwarf.

  • @dwarflover63 what's the diffrent?? Dwarf or Midget??

  • @LeinMarjo The difference is that "midget" is a made up name. Dwarfism (and there are many different types of dwarfism) is an actual condition. We actually prefer the term "Little People." Thank you for your interest.

  • so Mr Humphries DID go straight at the end

  • @dibossniss234 He was always neither one way or the other

  • hahaha mrs slocombe is a cougar! haha

  • Wow Mrs. Slocombe looks beautiful with dark hair. So use to seeing her in her awesome pastels. Super cool punk rock.

  • @RandiSierra That blue colour looks really cool actually on her ! I wish women her age were more daring nowadays !!!

  • do you know the pixel size of this episode.

  • @irongirl100 you mean the resolution? its 640x480

  • @mtwini09

    thanks

  • The funniest episode of the last 2 or 3 series!!!

  • bring back Mr Lucas....excellent episode though :D

  • @samswhore Go back in time and keep Trevor Bannister (Mr. Lucas) from quitting the show.

  • @KTBEverlasting i agree it was as good without him in it

  • @KTBEverlasting He quit the show? Why? he was one of the high lights. He came back in the spin off "Are you being served again?" didn't he?

  • @Opium1958 Nope. I wish he did. He was tired of the show focusing on everyone instead of his character or something like that.

  • @KTBEverlasting Makes sence. I don't remember any that focused on him centrally. Closest I recall was Dear Sexy Knickers.

  • @KTBEverlasting I heard it was a scheduling conflict!!!!

  • @chumshot1 Probably, but the story was that he was tired of the show not focusing on his character.

  • @KTBEverlasting .....Hmm. Well I never heard of that before. Everytime I read up online or in books, its because he wanted to do theatre, which was in the way of filming aybs. I wouldve chosen aybs :(

  • @chumshot1 Yeah. I mean the friendship he had with Mr. Humphries, the hilarious jokes about Mrs. Slocombe and other things were amazing.

  • @KTBEverlasting I no... Theyre like BFF's, I love them together. lololz. But I suppose Mike Berry was the ultimate choice after that... he's cool, bt he aint the same as Trev.

  • @chumshot1 So true.

  • @KTBEverlasting Yep. Well anyway, are u on the aybs forum???!!

  • @chumshot1 No. What's the url to it?

  • @KTBEverlasting lolz its just aybs.net, but they had debates about that whole thing, as well as awsum members and forum threads, a chatroom that actually works...its an awesome site.

  • @KTBEverlasting well the show was made to revolve around mr. lucas as a junior trying to fit in with the other staff, but mr. humphries and mrs. slocumbe kinda stole the show so he left because mr. lucas kept becoming more of a secondary and not a main character. But he said in an interview even after he left he was still good friends with them all, he said it during the tribute to mollie sugdens 80th birthday celebration.

  • @Mst3kfanatic1 Thanks. I was already aware of those facts.

  • @KTBEverlasting would have like to have seen him in grace and favour have him reunite with them.

  • @Mst3kfanatic1 Me, too.

  • @KTBEverlasting yeah the only good cast changes ever were replacing Mash for mr. Harman and bringing in ms. Belfridge.

  • @TimestheTruth You forgot to write a comment.

  • @KTBEverlasting lol I didn't forget my internet is horrible....

Comment: Have him leave long enough for Spooner to do the Chanson D'Amour ep....a-rat-a-tat-a-tat!

  • @KTBEverlasting If I could, I would do that.

  • Love how John Inman (Mr. Humphreys) is trying his hardest not to laugh when Mrs. Slowcomb makes her entrance into the cantine. lol

  • @Nesaria that was great, judging by the way he and the others reacted, i think they may not have been expecting that.

  • @StoliDassah Yesh I just said that. LOLOLZ

  • @Nesaria They didnt even no in real life what that was gonna look like LOLOLZ

  • @Nesaria Look at Frank next to him, its hysterical!!!!

  • This is my all time fav episode. When I bought series 8 DVD I watched this one everynight for a month!

  • That little guy was an oompa loompa.

  • love this episode thanks !! was looking forward to it !

  • Oh thank you for uploading! I love the opera scene where they're watching the dancers jump... they don't jump THaT high lol
