This game (red dead revolver) takes place in 2882 in a post apocalyptic world that's why it looks like it's taking place during the wildwest.

There are two relatively safe places on the roofs, the small broken "tower" where Josh can't often reach you (but has killed me there a few times) and the main roof with Jack, where Josh can get glitched in one place permanently if you move quickly.

Neither tactic seems fun or fair. If you want to see me play cheap, watch the first Red Dead Revolver playthrough I did where I exploit the glitch.
