How tightly the refs are calling this series--they need to let these two great teams play and stop calling ticky-tack fouls. Celts did play with more energy in game 2 and I feared the Celts might get that game and they did. Lakers had some scoring droughts in game 2 and that cost them the game in those final minutes. i definitely miss the shaq and kobe team, that team was and still is one of the best teams ever, this current laker team is ok, but they will never compare to the boston celtics this year for sure and a couple other teams possibly. they aren't a really good defensive team and their bench is weak or inconsistent except for shannon brown, the only players that can play defense on their team consistently are kobe of course, derek fisher, and trevor ariza, who definitely was a huge lost.

@bballsharpshooter10 Lakers are now much improved since the '08 Finals & the Celtics are just older. Therefore, if there's a rematch of the '08 Finals, I see the Lakers taking it in 6 or 7. Lakers will have home-court and will be hungry for revenge on your Celts. Lakers have more scoring weapons than the Celts, but Celts have a better D than the Lakers. But the Lakers have a better bench that's playing incredible right now. In the end, I think the Lakers would take a Finals rematch.

I don't think Celts can stop Kobe & they don't have defensive guys to stop Gasol, Bynum (out in '08 series) & Odom. Those 3 guys have improved since '08. Lakers have a better bench too.
Series may go 6 or 7, but I think the Lakers have more advantages. I've been wrong before, if the Celts win...congrats.

If the Celts win the finals, I'll be impressed that the old guys could pull it together. Rondo and his back-up are the guys who worry me the most. Lakers play marginal defense and sometimes horrible defense. We'll see if Rondo's injury will bother him at all.

Nice finals so far. But I think the celtics need to look to somebody else in game 3 because I don't think allen gonna drop 35 anymore (what a display of pure shooting btw). @bballsharpshooter10 Two things have surprised me about this series...1. How flat and tired the Celts looked in game one and 2. How tightly the refs are calling this series--they need to let these two great teams play and stop calling ticky-tack fouls. Celts did play with more energy in game 2 and I feared the Celts might get that game and they did. Lakers had some scoring droughts in game 2 and that cost them the game in those final minutes. Hats off to Ray....what a performance!

Kudos to Wallace & Rondo hitting those shots late in the 4th, but the tears by Gasol & Fisher showed how badly the Lakers wanted this series. I played B-ball in high-school/college & nothing inspires you more than payback, which fired up the Lakers in game 6 & 7. That fire messed up Kobe's offense and Gasol's free-throws, but other Lakers got the game 7 win....what a series!

That's not true at all. There was nothing between those teams. It has nothing to do with who wanted it more lakers where the better side in game 6 that made the difference and the other 6 matches where evenly played. But I told you that what ever happened the "old ass celtics'' would give the lakers a run for there money. i definitely miss the shaq and kobe team, that team was and still is one of the best teams ever, this current laker team is ok, but they will never compare to the boston celtics this year for sure and a couple other teams possibly. they aren't a really good defensive team and their bench is weak or inconsistent except for shannon brown, the only players that can play defense on their team consistently are kobe of course, derek fisher, and trevor ariza, who definitely was a huge lost.
