We say that Nelson gave us this flag when he was capture by Tenerife people cause he didn´t want to give us the united kindong flag the Emeral....but its only a joke we have the union jack flag from his ship"THE EMERAL" on the history museum of La Laguna its realy.

I did understand. In the same way that Scots gazed to the sky and saw the cross of St Andrew, - and the battle was won, perhaps the same happened in Tenerife.

No the flags are not quite right...the Welsh Dragon is back to front,the Dragon should always face left. The set however is first rate.

The centre flag is the Union Jack - the first flag of the union in 1707. The flag to the right is the current union flag which is the other end of the 300 year experience and recognises the addition of Ireland.

Unles you are infering a political point, the history is accurate.
