I caught Lizzyitis in 1977. The doctor told me I had it for life. I said ' I don't believe a word'. I had no symptoms apart from a cold sweat so I told him I was going. He said 'You can do anything you want to'. That doctor had a bad reputation anyway & I was a bit of a wild one back then. Anyway I'm still symptom free & happily married to Rosalie & we have an apartment in Chinatown.
@whitbyjet65 I had that too, and one day I went cruising in the Lizzymobile and then caused a jailbreak somewhere in this town. I too went to a doctor with a bad reputation, and he told me that I've "got to give it up." I ignored him and drank some whiskey from a jar. Now I can do anything I want to do on this, the toughest street in town.
brilliant song one of my all time favroute song done by Philip Lynott and Thin Lizzy Brian Robertson and Scott Goram in this whaen they do the solo is amazeing that is cool the way the two guitarists play at the same time there's no other band ever who has done the same as Thin Lizzy that twin guitar sound has and will remain a legend forever spot on song really good song of all time.
@ThinLizzyFanpage Thanks. And thanks for posting the video to this song. It's a great one and vastly underappreciated among casual listeners-to of Thin Lizzy.
luv the breaks + especially the solos on this song by the wizard that is gary moore...they're captivating ,euphoric ' ecstatic + ultimately mindblowing!!!
what a classic original video, didn't know one existed, I will always treasure the Gary Moore era Lizzy, it had a special feel especially songs like this one,the Irish sons were always meant to be together, we should never forget the greatness of this band, @@+++
1:17 is awesome :D Mwaha I love this song loads too. The bass is really addictive and those guitars are so amazing. Never used to like this song but I listened to it a good few times and its tremendous!
@sbyrne1 it's the same for me...when i first heard the Black Rose album, this was one of my least favourite tracks on there but now I really appreciate what a great song it is. It could have been a worthy single, if it hadn't already been B-side for Waiting For An Alibi
@ThinLizzyFanpage Thanks for all these great Lizzy Sites, also for being broadminded about what people write,on other random site they would erase my opinion but your cool about, anyway Thanks again.
the best band of ALL TIME. RIP Phil and Gary!!!

What's he talking about when he says "I'd like to make that phone line mine, my phone line"? Not exactly sure about that part.
dudestr5552 11 months ago 2
@dudestr5552 rather: "I'd like to make that Fraulein mine, mein Fraulein"
ThinLizzyFanpage 11 months ago 17
@ThinLizzyFanpage What's he mean by that?
dudestr5552 11 months ago
@dudestr5552 It's German, mein Fraulein basically means 'my woman'. He's playing on the fact mine and mein sound the same.
HuDaFuK 11 months ago
@HuDaFuK That makes sense. Makes more sense than "my phone line." Thanks for clearing that up for me.
