Tippmann A-5 With CO2 tank FROZE!!!

The a-5 comes stock w/ the cyclone feeder. Check into it.. I can't stand thoes stupid noisy battery hoppers. I use the a-5 with the flatline and never have any break unless I have the fps set to high.

Get a speedball marker. Trust me. I started off playing woodsball and then gave up my tippmann for a speedball marker. Speedball markers are lighter and you can use it to play both woods and speedball. The only thing about getting a speedball marker is youll have to get an HPA tank (dont use CO2) and buy an electronic force feeding hopper. Speedball markers are just as durable as tippmanns. Those who say they're not are probably biased woods players.

Also, if you go to a scenerio match (or a very long lasting match) you can carry an extra tank or two with you. I know when I go to the D-Day scenerio match I'm gonna take my 2 20 oz Co2 tanks out with me (since I only have 1 No2 tank currently)

This is why I upgraded to No2! Most matches don't last more than 20 mins (longest I had was 15 mins and I almost froze everything on my gun!). Co2 does get my shots in, and last longer, but if you like playing in the Fall (when it gets cold) the nthe Co2 just doesn't cut it. No2 gets about 400-500 shots off before needing a refill (with the 3000psi), and works in all conditions! Plus, since the matches don't last too long, you don't run out of air half way through the match.

For clarification, that was my kid firing that weapon and talking on here, hmm.... teeenagers. As for the barrel it is a Blackcell stiffi, (same barrel, half the price).

If I would recommend a new weapon for a starter weapon hands down it would not be a A-5 (even though I live by them), it would be a new SP-1 bw smarts parts, got my kid one that likes to talk on here, works flawlesly and the price is great, no need for upgrades.

Hi guys , that was my weapon firing, yes it was CO2, however I prefer HPA and no the orings never froze. I have to say that the a-5 is a remarkable weapon however that one is not stock. to get it that fast its needs all Tech-T internals (all of them).

Ok first off all Barrels chop paint flatlines just do it abit more. They also take ur accuracy down big time. Also theres practicly no diffrence between an a5 and an x7 just the body so you might as well go with an a5 its cheaper.

BT-4 combat is up there...many of the bt-4 pieces don't fit the tippmanns yet most tippman parts fit on BT-4s. Bt has many of its own pieces and a bt rip clip which doesn't fit on tippmanns but takes tippmann hoppers.
