The Indians/ Natives tribes, during the Spanish inquisition, though the land was not taken, instead colonized.(Originally it was the Indians, but the Spanish and Indians bread creating what is now Mexico.) What is Mexico? Its not a race but a state, just like the US-America. If you are Mexican, you are from Mexico, if you are American you are from America (u.s). The US did no purchase any land, instead ceded it.

The Mexicans also had a good militia at the time, but did now have any reason to really fight over that land because it seemed to be only desert and it was not populated by Mexicans. This is fueled by lust and lack of respect for life. In Mexico, there is a general disregard for the law. Homes are robbed on a regular basis. Half the vehicles don't have registration or plates. How do I know? I've seen it first hand. Until basic respect for all is learned, the issues with not end. MEX makes its own problems.
