I think Apple would sell a gazillion netbooks if they released their version of a Mini 9 at ther right price. They could probably own the whole netbook market if they wanted just like they do with iPod. Thery're not going to do it though because the thin profit margins don't seem to fit their business model ... or something? Seems like they're planning some sort of 10" touchscreen device - I'm sure it will cost over $800.

All companies exist to make money. Netbooks are cheap, low-powered machines that don't make much profit and market-share does not equal profit. It doesn't make sense for them to do this.
