Kelly is the only judge clapping which - considering this bunch of idiots praise every underwhelming, average, through the nose, shite performance by the dancing monkeys on this show - really highlights how terrible that was (forgotten words or not, it was still crap) They let go of some excellent singers in the early stages this year, to let through rubbish like Kitty and and Frankie COKEossa, now their paying for it with floundering viewing figures and bad press.

I can't help feel that some people don't fully read/understand all the comments otherwise they wouldn't just repeat things others have said ie. "she was ill".

No, she SAID she was ill and if there was a SHRED of truth to that, you can bet they would have alluded to it on the results show. Instead, they have a clip of Louis asking if she forgot her words and her nodding, and then a clip of her saying she's got a 2nd song to try to bring it back.

Looking up and left or right is a form of visual accessing cue and it's an indication someone is trying to remember something.

Her body language was all wrong for someone allegedly swallowing their own vomit ie. she's still dancing (big clue #1), she's running her hand through her hair, she brings the mic back up to her mouth when she thinks she can join back in, doesn't then proceeds to give a classic "ooops" cringe.

this is what's so terrible about x factor this year: kelly has no idea what janet is about musically, so this 16 year old does all the mentoring on her own. in addition to that, gary is sooo afraid of the fact that none of his acts could win, he carries on calling the most popular contestant boring until the viewers believe it too.

i hope janet bows out gracefully, because winning a contract with syco won't be doing her any good, they will just try to rob her of what's left of her uniqueness.

Although she did forget the words, I do feel sorry for her. For me, the judges seem clueless when its coming to harnessing her voice. She's gone from singing a great song in the opening audition (which suited her voice perfectly) to singing a one hit wonder by Hanson!
