  • I have a old 270B swan here in mexico but i have some trouble to found a good antenna i think that i need a multiband antenna, i had this rig since1997 and never made a contact with my radio cause i dont know how tuned

  • How much does this radio cost?

  • Nothing comes close to the Swan's audio quality on SSB!

  • Seems like I had a Swan 850 SX or someting. It was okay...

  • lovely old Swan...superb..

  • I owned a Cygnet a long time ago. It was supposed to be my motivation to get my license. I finally did, (as a "no code Tech"), and I still haven't upgraded.

I had to leave the radio at a friend's house, cause there wasn't enough room in the car when I moved.

    Maybe someday . . .

  • Great Radios these are! Love my 500! Hard to beat Tubes in my opinion!

  • Thanks for the comment. View the resume is an excellent radio.

    73, Enrico

  • Excellent rigs. I had a 350 and a 500 about 25 years ago. Never had a problem with them as they were built like a tank. Very good power to weight ratio....

  • Thanks for the comment, is really a very good radio.

  • I had a Swan 700Cx once and it was a GREAt rig!! It was pretty much useless on the bands above 20 meters because the tubes would oscillate but on 40 and 80 the rig was a rock.

    I miss mine..................

I also miss my Drake TR-4CW............

  • Hello, and own it as you say, a real rock.

I own a TR-4CW and is very beautiful and functional.

    Thanks, Enrico

  • I had a Swan 350 back in the day (1960s-70s). Swan rigs are built like a truck. Their audio was always the best. This 700 sure sounds great. good job!

  • Many thanks, unfortunately not the space I had to sell it.

    73, Enrico

  • Fantastico !!!!!!!!!!!

Questi BoatAnchor sono come una droga !!!!

Il tuo Swan è bellissimo !!!

    73 Mario

  • Grazie Mario, purtroppo non ho lo spazio per poter usare queste bellissime radio, e come vedi sono costretto ad usarle sul tavolo di sala.

  • Great video!

I Love Swans, they have the best audio and more power than all of the newer rigs available today.

Simple single conversion design, their power and the ability to transmit into a refrigerator (high SWR) keeps them at the top of my list for rag chewing.

    Thanks for posting.

  • If I have to say the truth is somewhat complex to be granted, but still 450 Watts!

    Thanks, Enrico

  • Swans just keep "plugging" along:-)

    I have an SS-200 & 102BX, luv 'em!

  • Congratulations, now they are not nearly over, keep them in advance!

  • Greatt!!

  • Thanks!!!

  • Thanks for the comment, I hope we can soon use.

    Greetings, Enrico

  • The audio quality with these rigs is just beautiful. Just listen to it. Full, rich speech quality. That's something I've never equalled with all the transceivers I've owned since the old Swan 260. TX

audio reports were always good too. Congratulations again on your superbly maintained radio. Long may it serve you well.
