You people need to open your eyes and get over life! Ben CAN slap! He's a far superior musician than Dirk, so just stop all the bullshit. It's dumb. Dirk had his own style and Ben clearly has his own style as well. Dirk would not fit in with what Incubus is now anyway. Ben and his style does.

Ben can slap and there are SEVERAL videos, including this one, that shows that he can. Get over it.

I just saw incubus two nights ago in Mansfield Mass. . . and I always liked Dirk vs. Ben just due to the fact that from a bass players point of view funk/slap is always awesome to hear but after seeing this it totally changes my point of view. . . . . Ben is just as capable of slap as Dirk was. Awesome playing in this video. Loved this!!!!

If you want to see a great old school performance, look up Take Me To Your Leader in 2004 or 2005. It was at some festival. I do miss old school Incubus though.
