  • good guide... but you should NEVER use nails for this kinda work... allways use screws and predrill with a smaller diameter drill to prevent the plywood from splitting...

  • If he was using glue on all the joints and using a nailgun, MAYBE it would be okay. But a hammer?

    Wood glue (yellow carpenter's glue) and drywall screws are the way to make sure that thing never comes apart.

  • yes but with the screws you are more likely to split the wood id rather use small diameter nails with a nail gun.
