I love how Ron Paul basicly torches Newt Gingrich with this ad. The only problem is, is that Ron Paul is so far to the right of Mr. Gingrich as to be unelectable in a general election. Although he has a lot of good ideas and views, he has so many outlandish, 18th Century ideas floating just below the surface as to make him unpallatable.

After a little online research It appears that Ron Paul is correct. While Iran used to have an air force, most of it has been destroyed, is beyond repair or they lack the necessary replacement parts.
