the 15k obliterates made me lawl. now i ask you fellows. I'm going frost. IS it worth it to go into arpen that extensively or would i be worth more to focus on strength to up the damage of frost strike, diseases.... etc etc etc?
In response to Shadowmeany: I would recommend that if you are using 2h blood, you switch to unholy 0/17/54 ASAP. It will undoubtedly pull more dps when played right. The reason you don't pull as much in frost is because 1. You aren't used to it and 2. You probably aren't geared for it. The common spec is 0/53/18, glyph of oblit / frost strike / disease, and the rotation is a priority system.
@jaycipia : when you get a KM proc, you can do 1 of 2 things: Use frost strike right away, while keeping in mind that you need to keep diseases up or: Ignore it until all your runes are done, this is if and ONLY if you are gemmed full arp with 213 sigil and focusing your dps around oblits.

I'm a blood DK, my own special talent tree, 53/0/18, I pull most than a lot of others, people keep telling me to try out frost, but when I do, I don't pull nearly as much, btw, I haven't tried popping army on either when testing, I pull about 10k on saurfang, never really tested the frost in icc, only dummies, can I have some advice on what talents/glyphs/rotation to do? --Deathears of Anetheron
idk, I been a frost dps since before 3.3.3 and thats the same spec I use now and its still good to this day.. and btw you do more damge with mobs than you do with a boss dummy so Meriless Combat doesn't play a huge role here.
@berylin12 The best current frost spec for ICC and single target DPS is 0/53/18. Unholy subspec with BCB (roughly 1.5% dps per point) will amount to the greatest dps output, more so than the one used in this video. It also benefits more from raid buffs.

@TheWoWdks : Frost is really complicated, it's based on procs basically and doesn't follow a strict rotation... This build specifically i start out with it-ps-oblit-fs-bs-pest-fs dump-oblit-oblit-fs dump-bs-pest Then for the rest of the fight i continue oblit-oblit-fs dump-bs-pest... Gotta keep in mind using KM on your fs is a big chunk of your dps so it pays to get powerauras or something.. Rime ain't too great but use it ifyou have time before ur pestilence
@WoWjunkie005 You need two one hands because of many things, for example Nerves of Cold Steel. Dump stands for emptying your runic power by using as many frost strikes as possible.
holy shit dude, 7.5K is insane unbuffed, especially sustained that long, i dont think ive ever seen a frosty like this... especially with blood subspec
I have a feeling it's scaling with my gear quite a bit, and there is a slight chance of the BCB unholy subspec build being better in raids. I haven't raided with this spec yet... i will tonight, and i'll post later.
