Ive been to the Frazer Nash factories, though they only tend to make concept cars, it really is fasinating watching the process from start, to finish.

And if you go to most Gran Prix's, you can get passes.

but what i usually do is if i go to a big race, like Le Mans 24hrs you can see all of the last minute preparations take place. Though in my experience the Mercades pit is spotless, with no staff there at all, because they finish everything before packing it off to france.

Glad you had a great time at Mclaren,hope they will make you part of the pit crew or even let you work out the bugs on the track behind the wheel!A few weeks back,I happened to pull up beside a BMW M5,blew my Z3's horn at him & he revved her up for me.The thing literally roars at you!Only M5 I've seen on the road.I think everyone should go to a dealership(BMW,Porsche etc)& test drive a sport model.Problem is,then you will want one and spend inordinate amounts of time scheming to get it......
