  • So what patches are you using?? Trance Attack??

  • @tuckandrollification The patch is called radio-head

You will find it on your x-station!

  • X- Staion is what introduced me to Synths! Even the ARP is great. $500 never got spent so easily!

  • I love the X-Station !! GREAT PRODUCT FROM NOVATION !

  • I have the x-station 61 and have never tried getting this creative of sounds out of mine. Thanks for the inspiration to explore and try my own hand at it. You're awesm

  • You are fuckin awesome. great music.

  • Awesome video...

    Awesome Synth...

  • :) wwoooo

  • excelent man... ;) big you

  • Hey man, does this have normal sounds like Grand Piano, and strings?

  • @bkuethen No grands, but strings and E. P.s are there.

  • how easy is it to use this as a midi controller - sending midi arppegiator signals to another synth?

  • sixk man sick

  • thanks for the demo man. Is this a stock patch?

  • Ive just ordered a x station 61, as its gonna be my main synth (also my first) I got it cheaper than the 25 cause it dosnt come with the xite+ software pack, oh well, none of it would run on linux anyway.

  • mine didn't come with any xite+ software, and I've enjoyed it ohh so much. It's a great first synth!

  • Just got it and its oh so good :D

  • Prepare to lose your social life

    hahah

  • nice one, i was comparing korg ms2000 vs x station and this is sounding much warmer.

  • ms2000 has the micro korg's engine.

I'd take the x-station, due to the fact that you really get more bang for your buck.

  • @XYtoTheDoubleG

I do still think that the x-station is a lot of bang for your buck, but I do believe that the Micro Korg (MS2000) is a better constructed synth. This is because I feel that the four knobs are much more sturdy than the x-stations flimsy piece of shit knobs, which become very lose over extensive use.................... FU@%!NG FilterCUTOFFFFFFF!!!!!!!

  • @EndlessSummers There are just too much differences between both. MK has 2 osc's but can stack 2 sounds (timbres) while the X-station has 3 osc's and has no stacking functionalitiy. The X-station has more FX, and they can be used simultaneously. Especially the reverb makes a great addition.

I have the MK, very happy with it, and I'm about to get the X-station.

  • wonderful!

  • wow I'm blown away by the sounds...I was ready to buy one strictly as an interface and controller I figured the synth engine would suck, instead I'm awestruck.

  • Interesting ^.^

  • Check out Tangerine dream live 1976 on you tube...D....London UK.

  • yes all through a yamaha mixer and TC fireworks/lexicon.mpx1 effects units..Monitors..Yamaha HS80..For it was I who recorded the Royal Albert performane By Tangerine Dream in 1976..and Klause Schulze at the London Planetarium in 1977.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Klause Schulze link...pls google Klause Schulze Black Quasimidi....then you will have link to youtube.

  • The sirius is a fantastic synth... aroun £375 for a mint one on EBAY...thats what i paid(as new)Its out of this world. The M3..Virus POLAR..SIRIUS and NOVATION X STATION....Thats my collection!!!!!!!!!Dont believe me check out my broadcast on BLOG TV....Lifes good...And this VIDEO...WOW.

    you're filthy rich!

    haha

I've been loathing both the m3, and polar for quite some time now

    haha

I'm happy that this video inspired you to buy an x-station

Are you using "Live" with your impressive setup?

  • Sounds like mid 70s KLAUS SCHULZE.Check out KLAUSE SCHULZE black QUASIMIDI on you tube .Well done YOURE MAGNIFICENT.

  • Wonderful ..I think i'll add it to my SIRIUS by Quasimidi.

  • I've been thinking of saving for a Sirius

they seem to be pretty beefy synthesizers

what do you think of yours?

  • you have good taste in sound design...very nice!

  • Why thank you

  • Did you had to download those sounds from somewhere or are they included in the x station???

    Thanx, ;) it's amazing!

  • A preset on the x-station

    One of my favorites

  • does the x-station come with any beats?

    you know like the micron?

  • no beats

I don't feel like beats are a necessity on a machine like this

you can get some wild rhythms going if you know how to rock the arp

  • does it have a sequence or just arp?

  • no sequencer, just a 4 octaves arp (up, down, up&down, up&down2, played, chord, random) and about 30 arp patterns but it seems it's not possible to edit them.

  • ah okay, thanks. cool SN btw

  • nice, sounds modular

  • not to bad, and you can see everything alot easier in this video as well.

  • X-station 25.

  • Which Model of the X-Station is this dude?

  • Whoa. Dude...

  • Love it!
