@lilaspastia1 Many people (Muslims) say "revert" instead of "convert" because they consider Islam as the true religion. In other words, it's like being born into another religion when your true religion was always Islam, thus reverting means to go back to your true religion. No offense to any other religions out there - Islam stresses equality, humblesness, and also tolerance =) Hope this helped!
